The "La calcara" restaurant is located on the outskirts of the industrial area of ​​Pietragalla. It has a rather large, well-kept room, with an exposed oven, and has sufficient parking. The cured meats in the appetizer are really good, the pizza is of excellent quality and the ingredients are of good quality. Even the homemade desserts were delicious.

As a Lucanian born in Turin, when I come to Avigliano I am looking for cod and bran peppers. I took the cod and pepperoni pizza, perfect for both the sauce and the pasta. Courtesy and punctuality reinforce the positive opinion.

We were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Dishes with typical local products and house wine. The place was clean and tidy, as were the bathrooms! The prices are not exactly cheap but it is compensated by everything else.

Very nice location. Really good pizza (perhaps too much crust), the homemade truffle was top especially if "drowned". Overall good prices. In the end, an excellent place, a little difficult to reach because it is too far from the main population centres.

Da lucano nato a Torino, quando vengo ad avigliano sono alla ricerca di baccalà e peperoni cruschi. Ho preso la pizza baccalà e peperoni crusti, perfetta sia per il condimento che per la pasta. Cortesia e puntualità , rafforzano il giudizio positivo.

12/09/2024: A restaurant purely dedicated to those who love eating meat, Mister Tagliata welcomes you with grace and kindness. The place is not very large but the cuisine is excellent as well as the products are of high quality and are served with flavored oil and salt. The chips and wine are also good. The Florentine steak cooked on lava stone and the veal carpaccio are excellent.
