Feeling at home Mr. Claudio and his wife welcomed us like family: it was late, they were closing, and they allowed us to have lunch anyway, ensuring a valuable and unusual service. [NOVEMBER 2025 REVIEWS]: Today we returned to "La bottega della carne" in Squinzano, where we ate a spectacular grilled meat! The meat was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, and the chicken thigh was cooked to perfection, slightly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. We also came here on Saturday, where Dad and I tried the set menu, and we were very satisfied that day too! I recommend all my friends who live in Puglia (or are coming to Puglia for a vacation) to stop by this place. I guarantee you'll leave satisfied, both with the food and the owner's friendliness! A grill restaurant offering meat and traditional dishes. The atmosphere and cuisine are reminiscent of family meals. The dishes are simple but flavorful. The cured meats are homemade. We had the fixed menu for €25, including drinks. The mixed pittule (a type of pork shoulder) was tasty, the mixed cold cuts were decent, the lasagna was good, and the porchetta was truly delicious. The service was excellent, both friendly and quick. The decor is a bit too basic, but in keeping with the restaurant's character.

We returned to this place today, our third time. We had an excellent mixed grill, cooked very well—crispy, but not tough. I recommend everyone to visit this place; it's truly worth it.
