La bottega del vino In Sabaudia

Siamo capitati casualmente e dopo un po di attesa per prendere l'ordine (cameriere da rivedere) anche per riceverlo abbiamo aspettato eccessivamente. Un piccolo tagliere di prosciutti e formaggi (non eccezionali per 40 euro), 3 mozzarelle piccole, una melanzana grigliata, un calice di vino, acqua. Conto 70 euro in due. Eccessivo per qualità, quantità e servizio.

We had dinner for two with a slice of ham and cheese, good (not exceptional) but few, 40 euros, 3 small mozzarella, a nothing special grilled vegetable, a glass of wine, water, total 70 euros. Inadequate service. I wouldn't go back.

Reading the other reviews I understand that many do not know how to judge by delving into the specifics of the venue and the summer in Sabaudia. High-level gastronomy with a varied offer, a limited but good menu with tasty dishes (for light ones, look for something else because the inn offers tasty food). The guys on the staff are kind and there's room for a few colorful jokes. Priceless to taste something and then be able to buy it and take it home. Everything was perfect even on a Saturday evening full of guests in the venue. See you soon

The hallmark of the place, it is clear right away and even before entering, is the absolute informality. So nothing to do with the best restaurant or perfect service. In fact, I would say an old-fashioned trattoria where the service almost doesn't take long to sit down at the table with you and start chatting and where the dishes are beautifully loaded with seasonings. We trusted the waiter in choosing the dishes and it was all absolutely good. Excellent platter, good bread, very tasty Trapanese pesto, good dessert but if you are on a diet I would avoid it. I recommend it because you have to feel good at the table. And we were.

Incredible place, crazy food designed with intelligence, good wine and excellent proposals... Perfect portions, the hot porchetta was wonderful and fragrant... What can I say? I have to return as soon as possible.
