La Botte In Napoli

A suitable place to enjoy a quiet evening accompanied by a cutting board and a good wine. We tried the cutting board ‘la botte’ and a bun with raw ham, dried tomatoes and rocket. The cutting board was excellent: cold cuts, cheeses, focaccia with lard and seasonal vegetables. It must be said that the price difference with the cutting board of cold cuts, cheeses and focaccia is about €10 but the only seasonal vegetable that was served to us was a mini portion of broccoli. The quality was excellent, but it is better to take the other cutting board.

We had an aperitif last night at the headquarters in via Merliani. I don't think I've ever eaten a platter of such good, quality cheeses and cured meats. We opted for the classic one (we were also offered a special but we opted for the classic) with canestrato di Moliterno, buffalo bleu and tête de moine as cheeses accompanied by acacia honey and an amazing orange jam. All amazing. For cured meats, a very sweet 24-month Parma ham, spectacular finocchiona and sublime mortadella. All freshly made and you could see it from the color and scent they gave off. Then they brought some chips, olives and a bag with some excellent white focaccia made by them. All this accompanied by a spritz and a Negroni. To conclude, two bitters and mini Nutella buns. The total cost 55 euros. A very fair price for the quality offered. The service from the boy at the tables was impeccable: kind, friendly and helpful. Definitely a fixed stop for the next aperitifs also to try the other treats they offer. P.S. we also returned on December 1st. This time we opted for the Tagliere Botte which is richer than the Classic (it features a toss and a focaccia with colonnata lard). I confirm everything positive I said in the previous review, highlighting again the kindness and friendliness of the guy at the tables.

A truly pleasant experience! I tried the aperitif with cutting board and was impressed by the quality and attention to detail. The platter was rich and well assorted, perfect for accompanying a simply impeccable cocktail. An ideal place to relax and enjoy a special moment. Highly recommended!

High quality cuisine, excellent quality products and well-stocked wines, polite and always helpful staff, enchanting place located in one of the most beautiful squares in Naples, refined environment, what can I say, go there now and you won't regret it....

It was extremely nice service and enjoyable food. However one plate that was ordered was missing an ingredient and when consulting the owner and the cooks, they said we got unlucky. I DID NOT KNOW YOU NEEDED TO BE LUCKY TO GET ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS IN THE FOOD YOU ORDERED!! Uno Svedese in vacanza.

Beautiful and elegant place in the heart of Piazza dei Martiri in Naples. The internal room, although furnished with style, is rather small and has no tables. The tables are mostly positioned under an external terrace or directly on the square. The menu offers platters, appetizers, bruschetta and other dishes designed both to accompany the wines and to try local cuisine. The quality of the dishes is very good, with the use of excellent raw materials and good presentation. The wine list is excellent both in quality and availability and ranges from local Campania labels, perhaps not always known to the general public but of great quality, to proposals from other Italian and international regions. The choice of bubbles is also excellent. Efficient and helpful service. A place absolutely to recommend.

Good but limited food, large plates but little food inside

The cocktails are very good, the price is a little high (7€/spritz) especially when we had to pay for the olives. However, the setting is magnificent and the service quality. Recommended for a drink in the peace of Naples. Huartski
