Excellent breakfast. I had a Toast del contadino and a coffee. The toast is an explosion of flavors, several different seasonings for a simple dish. The coffee comes in a very large mug, no skimping. The price isn't cheap, like everything in Bolzano.

Some of the pastries are exceptional, such as the cream puff pastry; the rest are very good. The price is a bit high, but you know, quality comes at a price. The cappuccino is good. Several tables outside.

In Bolzano, there's the Heini bar/pastry shop. The quality is top-notch, the selection is vast. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. There's plenty of space inside and out. We had breakfast there on a Sunday morning (a rarity for Bolzano). The sfogliatelle are fragrant and crispy, the pear and almond strudel is divine, and the banana cake is amazing. Top marks for this wonderful establishment.

The staff are discreet and friendly, and the interior is tastefully decorated, with the added bonus of enjoying the cuisine in a discreet outdoor garden from May to October. Located in the center of Bolzano, this restaurant is a great place to combine sightseeing with lunch or dinner. The menu is varied, and the restaurant's defining characteristic is the high quality of the dishes served, crafted to satisfy even the most discerning palate. In my opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in South Tyrol for both value and quality. I've been frequenting the restaurant for years, always satisfied with the quality of the dishes. For lovers of exotic restaurants, this is a must-visit.
