Konditorei Cadario In Bolzano

These pizzas are distinctly different from the French variety; you can't "develop" them. They're inherently crispier and completely fluffy. They're filled individually on-site. The dough is fermented for 48 hours. The quality and taste (including the fillings) are simply outstanding. This dream costs €2 each. There's no seating here; it's an Istrian standing-room-only café with vending machine coffee, but the latter doesn't matter because the real star is the counter. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

Croissants as they should be made. I had the opportunity to try them at the Luna Hotel, which offers them at its buffet: exceptional!

One of the best croissants I've ever tasted. Definitely the best here in Bolzano. Fragrant, light, balanced, excellent. The fillings are also delicious. The ladies at the counter are friendly and smiling. It's a real pleasure to start the day there. A 10 for me.
