un'ortolana buona ma troppo piena d'olio. ottimi i primi e le carni, che continuano a confermarsi nel tempo, così come gli altri servizi, un sincronismo perfetto. Consiglierei solo di abbassare un po' la radio di sottofondo e l'aria condizionata. Tutto confermato, solo un po' troppo olio nelle pizze.

07/01/2024: Tasting, as a couple. The scallops were delicious, we have lived in Edinburgh for years and have tried them in several restaurants there but these were really very tasty. Good octopus, nothing exceptional but good, I would have preferred it slightly less bitter but it's a matter of taste. Delicious linguine, perhaps even more so than scallops. Slightly salty in flavor but very very good, the black garlic is an extremely welcome touch of class. The swordfish had a very good aroma, the flavor was very light but still good especially with the sauces offered. For chef's choice desserts, the Sfogliatella was our favourite. Really very good. The room with Christmas sweets was also very popular. The coffee honestly needs improvement, it seemed like the coffee from the machine at home, but still good. The citrus butter is also delicious, but served with a teaspoon. In the UK we have always seen it served with a knife; still very very good. Of the wine, the Falanghina Irpinia with apple bouquet is particularly appreciated. As residents abroad it will certainly be a fixed stop every time we are in Naples. Professional but not overly formal service. Excellent discovery, beautiful evening, recommended. We can't wait to get back to Naples to return!!

04/07/2025: Firefly I would like to thank all the Staff, a wonderful Team and in particular the Chef who I don't think is starred, but deserves all the MICHIELIN stars, and has nothing to envy anyone.... I would like to describe in detail but it took me back to when I was a child and I didn't like fish, but I couldn't wait to go to my grandfather to eat his Cod, but it wasn't a Brazilian, Portuguese or Livorno style Cod, it was a predictable Cod that recalled all its essence and flavor of the sea, for someone who doesn't like fish it was like doing a trick in the simplicity of the flavor. I'll make it short, I think that once in your life you should see this film, and you will make a comparison of this that I would like to express, "Ratatouille" at the end when a critical and starred chef is amazed by a dish that he ate as a child and finds himself eating the same dish revisited made by the magical hands of an unusual chef.... I recommend that once in a lifetime or as many times as you want to go to Luciola in Castiglioncello you would always be amazed by the magic of this cuisine that is renewed every day with fresh quality products. And here if you express a high level Pizza Chef who venerates gastronomy in its essence. Thank you Lucciola!
