Kara Food In Olbia

I have to counter the many bad reviews. The wood-fired pizzas were very good and quite acceptable for other European airport-friendly places! Anyone complaining here has probably never tried food at other airports… ;)

Okay, everything at the airport is expensive. But why the hell do you charge extra one euro for whatever that fee is??? IT IS A SELFSRVICE…

Prices are high, but typical for an airport. Very friendly staff. I see reviews with prices not displayed, but they're right in front of the cash registers. The pizza is probably one of the best takeaway pizzas I've ever tried.

Cafes and bistros at airports are expensive, and the prices are posted, so I don't understand why people complain. My Zen salad was very good. The croissant with jam was generously filled. The espresso was also good. The staff were polite and friendly. Seating was available.

The croissant for €2 is very good, both the chocolate and cream ones. The line is long, but you have to wait for the good ones.

Kara Food is located in the terminal at Olbia Airport and is highly visible and excellently positioned. The restaurant offers ample seating, some with cell phone charging stations. The decor is simple and contemporary. The staff is rather unassuming and polite. The selection is small but varied, and the buffet offers a good overview of the dishes. The food is very fine, the portions are generous, and everything is delicious. The prices for the food and drinks are very high, and the cover is charged separately.

Disappointing experience. After checking in I found myself in this bar, one of the few available, where the girls at the counter were kind, but the rest leaves much to be desired. Already at 7:30 in the morning it was impossible to find a seat. The croissants, which were supposed to be filled, were completely empty, and a simple juice (in a small glass) cost a whopping 6 euros. The lack of a visible price list is also unacceptable: you find yourself paying without knowing how much you will spend in advance. I strongly recommend having breakfast before checking in: you spend less, you eat better and you find a seat. Never again, I do not recommend it.
