Mediocre food. Fast service. Dinner cost €34 per person, excluding drinks. They use a terrible orange sauce on the salmon.

Excellent sushi in front of the Colico station

We went for the lunch hour from 12-15. We thought that the menu would not be as varied as the evening menu, but after visiting we realised that it was more than enough! For 18€ you get a huge variety of rolls and sushi, the appetisers were our favourites, and drinks in a large selection. It was very convenient to order food from a tablet and realise how much you ordered. I recommend not ordering everything at once, but gradually. And some positions of rolls need to be careful not to order accidentally 50 rolls at a time. But overall the staff was open and helpful. Our table was always left clean!

As we’ve arrived we’ve been seated immediately and provided with a tablet on which you had to order! It’s new and for the young easy to understand, however it might be very unconventional for certain ages! The starters were very pleasing and already gave a very good look into the quality of the food! As we’ve ordered our main courses I firstly was expecting that it will be smaller portions, nevertheless I got fooled and the portions were quite big so we’ve started to struggle to finish. So be responsible and order less at once or you might end up wasting food! All in all the experience was great and for the fair price of 18€ very acceptable! We’ve before thought that the lunch menu might have a little variation only but no it was far enough to taste all! Enjoy once you visit it!

Ci siamo trasferiti da poco sull’Alto Lario e, da amanti del sushi, stavamo cercando un posto valido in zona. Alla fine abbiamo provato Kantō a Colico, dopo aver letto un po’ di recensioni online. Avevo telefonato qualche giorno prima per bloccare un tavolo per sabato a pranzo, tipo verso mezzogiorno e mezza. In giro avevo letto che c’erano dei parcheggi sotterranei, però sinceramente ancora non ho capito se fossero davvero per i clienti del ristorante... non c’era scritto niente da nessuna parte, quindi boh, siamo andati un po’ a intuito. Alla fine abbiamo trovato parcheggio un po’ più lontano, con un po’ di fortuna. Il locale è proprio davanti alla stazione, quindi nelle ore di punta trovare posto non è semplicissimo. Una volta dentro, abbiamo dato il nome e ci hanno accompagnati al tavolo. Si ordina tutto tramite tablet, idea carina, ma purtroppo il segnale va e viene… in un paio di momenti abbiamo dovuto rifare l’ordine da capo. Piccolo intoppo. Formula "Open Sushi": si può ordinare quasi tutto, ma la maggior parte dei piatti si può chiedere solo una volta a testa. Alcuni piatti molto buoni, tipo gli uramaki e i gunkan; altri meno convincenti – tartare, sashimi e i fritti un po’ pesantucci. Il pranzo del sabato ci è costato 23€ a testa, esclusi dolci, coperto e bevande. Prezzo giusto secondo me per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Siamo tornati anche un martedì sera, pagato 32€ a persona… onestamente, non li vale. La scelta in più c’è, ma non è così significativa da giustificare la differenza. Nota positiva per gli udon, belli caldi e saporiti. Ci torneremo, ma solo a pranzo e magari in un giorno feriale, visto che si spende meno (18€) e ci si gode meglio il pasto.
