Kanto - Feeling Experience In Colico

This restaurant is truly fantastic. The food is good, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is great. We ate at this restaurant about ten times during a business trip, and the quality is always excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the tempura.

The food is decent, although you can often smell the oil, even on the rice and spaghetti. Prices are average. The atmosphere is pleasant in the evening, with lights on the tables. You can often smell the fried food, but you eventually get used to it, and in any case, it seems common in this type of restaurant. Recommended.

Awesome sushi spot 30min drive from Varena. The atmosphere and the restaurant itself looked like 5 star dining place. My wife and I each had €30 all you can eat menu. The range of dishes you can choose was countless. We wanted to try every single item but we got full after our 3rd round. Sashimi was fresh and not fishy at all. We went at 7pm, their first round of dinner service. The service was fast. Booking wasn’t required but may need to during busy seasons.

Highly recommended, especially for those who eat raw fish. It's easy to tell it's fresh, and the seasoning is good. Unfortunately, there are few, select dishes, and the hot food is decent. The price is slightly higher than the average for ALL U CAN EAT.

Even though I know I'm very picky when it comes to Japanese restaurants, I'm very satisfied with this lovely place. The sushi and sashimi were good, as were perhaps the noodle dishes. Perhaps the presentation could be a little better. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Known more as a sushi place but they also serve great Chinese food! Favorite!! The food and service was great!

Ci siamo trasferiti da poco sull’Alto Lario e, da amanti del sushi, stavamo cercando un posto valido in zona. Alla fine abbiamo provato Kantō a Colico, dopo aver letto un po’ di recensioni online. Avevo telefonato qualche giorno prima per bloccare un tavolo per sabato a pranzo, tipo verso mezzogiorno e mezza. In giro avevo letto che c’erano dei parcheggi sotterranei, però sinceramente ancora non ho capito se fossero davvero per i clienti del ristorante... non c’era scritto niente da nessuna parte, quindi boh, siamo andati un po’ a intuito. Alla fine abbiamo trovato parcheggio un po’ più lontano, con un po’ di fortuna. Il locale è proprio davanti alla stazione, quindi nelle ore di punta trovare posto non è semplicissimo. Una volta dentro, abbiamo dato il nome e ci hanno accompagnati al tavolo. Si ordina tutto tramite tablet, idea carina, ma purtroppo il segnale va e viene… in un paio di momenti abbiamo dovuto rifare l’ordine da capo. Piccolo intoppo. Formula "Open Sushi": si può ordinare quasi tutto, ma la maggior parte dei piatti si può chiedere solo una volta a testa. Alcuni piatti molto buoni, tipo gli uramaki e i gunkan; altri meno convincenti – tartare, sashimi e i fritti un po’ pesantucci. Il pranzo del sabato ci è costato 23€ a testa, esclusi dolci, coperto e bevande. Prezzo giusto secondo me per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Siamo tornati anche un martedì sera, pagato 32€ a persona… onestamente, non li vale. La scelta in più c’è, ma non è così significativa da giustificare la differenza. Nota positiva per gli udon, belli caldi e saporiti. Ci torneremo, ma solo a pranzo e magari in un giorno feriale, visto che si spende meno (18€) e ci si gode meglio il pasto.
