JD’s is always a great hung out. The entire bar is a great layout and with very unique decorations. Sweet fenced in patio. Plenty of seating. Great food items from the appetizers to the main course meals. You definitely get plenty of food. You will spend a little more than bars in the area but you get your money’s worth.

Stopped in for a quick drink and to share a personal Hawaiian pizza. Amazing pizza! Would return. Update: they serve the cheap whiskey we like now. We were just questioning if there is better pizza in our town and decided there is not. We love to stop here when we need to drive by Melrose. Five stars ♡

26/07/2025: We had a wonderful evening at La Locanda dei Semplici in Maglie. From the moment we arrived, the owner was attentive and very professional, taking into account the food intolerances of some of us. There were six of us (two grandparents and two couples) and we shared a delicious starter of charcuterie, fish, and fried foods, followed by various main courses: pasta with clams, swordfish, seafood, and meat. All accompanied by a very good bottle of wine, carefully recommended. The setting is charming, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of summer, perfect for a peaceful family meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its dishes, the friendly service, and the attention to detail. A big thank you to the entire team!

Pizzeria Dark Angel

06/09/2025: A grill restaurant with an open butcher's counter. Top-quality ingredients; the Black Angus steak and meatballs in tomato sauce were succulent. They also offer a pizzeria and takeout service with a wide-ranging menu. Attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended.
05/09/2025: Clean and welcoming place... As soon as we entered, a young man welcomed us and, seeing my poodle arrive, he already went out of his way to give my dog ​​water without me saying anything. This place already deserves 5 stars... We had some delicious cuts of meat, you can also find the butcher shop on display inside. I had a very good pizza, the pistachio and melon liqueurs on the house were excellent... Mattia, the young man who welcomed us, was full of attention to the entire service from start to finish... To conclude, he gave balloons to my children, a small gesture but for my children it was super. Thanks again Mattia, number one...
