The John Bistecchino is a small, cozy steak restaurant. There are only a few tables, which is why I would recommend a reservation (especially in high season). This makes the on-site experience seem even more personal, which is mainly due to the incredibly friendly lady who handles the entire service. Anyone who spends an evening here will not be disappointed, but they will have to bring time and patience, which is definitely worth it. We ordered a complete course, i.e. starter, primi and secondi piatti. Since it is a steak or meat restaurant, all dishes are meat-heavy, so not really suitable for vegetarians or even vegans. For us it was a good alternative to the restaurants in the area, which tend to be dominated by fish and seafood. The highlight of the menu was certainly the famous tagliata (Florentine steak, sliced) and the fillet steak. If you don't like fibers or fat in the meat, you should order the fillet, as this is part of the tagliata. We felt completely comfortable during our stay, and the price was also absolutely fair.

For meat lovers, a visit to John Bistecchino is mandatory 😁 Johnny Stecchino wasn't there but on the other hand two very kind and very thoughtful ladies! Compliments!

Excellent food. Once the meat feast was over we concluded with a delicious dessert. Very good.

Last evening in Follonica. Small place but with enormous quality. Friendly and helpful staff with our needs of a child of less than 2 years old. Fiorentina top, pici cacio e pepe top. Recommendation rating 10

Very good meat. We tried several cuts and really liked them. The waitress was really kind and helpful. The only flaw: the location. We were inside and were very cramped without air conditioning. The outside wasn't great either because it's on the street and there's a bit of a smoggy smell.
