Jam Jam Ristorante Uzzal In Napoli

This little restaurant was a wonderful find and definitely a relief after all the pasta we’ve been eating. It’s run by Bangladeshis and the food is really traditional and authentic such as kala bhuna, ilish, lau. We had rice, paratha and eight dishes between four of us to share. It all came to €46! You pick what you want at the counter and they bring it to you. Lots of veg and meat options. The staff made us feel really welcome. Thank you bhaiyya!

Noteworthy, the restaurant is not just about rice and meat (and fish for the bengali touch). This is how unfortunately other Indian/South Asian, let alone Bengali restaurants are. Uzzal excels at making delicious vegetarian food too. Try their Sorshe shaak and Dheros curry, start with a piyaji as snack! They cook some of the fish dishes with vegetables, which is quite remarkable and absolutely authentic. Edit: did get a food poisoning, most likely from the halim. Do I regret the choice? no.
