J Contemporary Japanese Restaurant In Sorrento

Visited in June 2023, and returned this week….and explained to our server that we wanted to be more adventurous this visit. Our server was helpful, to a point, but she simply didn’t have the bandwidth to have any dialogue with customers. The over-arching goal here is to turn tables as quickly as possible - the team are efficient & knowledgeable, but the pressure to serve/charge/turn table is palpable. The quality of the food is immense which means I’m conflicted in my review. Our bill was generated in advance of us requesting it and well within the 2hr timeframe that we were promised the table …. Altogether a disappointing/frustrating experience - at this stage I can’t decide if I’d return. The sushi was great but I don’t want to be part of a production line….. This is a frustrating experience

Au bout de 8 jours au régime pâtes et pizza, cela fait du bien de pouvoir manger plus léger avec un Japonnais Réservation au dernier moment mais le personnel très agréable nous a trouver une petite place Mets de qualité
