I'm Burger In Livorno

In the center the sandwich was really good, even the chips.

We arrived around 8:30 PM and the place was practically empty—just us and three other tables. The waiter took about 25 minutes to take our order, and the drinks arrived another 20 minutes later. The food arrived shortly thereafter. I would have expected more kindness and a more welcoming atmosphere: the waiter seemed listless and inattentive. Everything being said from the kitchen was audible, and the music didn't match the atmosphere of the place. There were two young men in the dining room, but everyone seemed to be doing their own thing. Furthermore, the waiter was seen smoking a cigarette in front of the restaurant and then came to serve us our food, smelling strongly of smoke—which was absolutely unacceptable. Overall, the service leaves much to be desired: there's still a lot to improve.

We arrived around 9:40 PM and the waiter brought us our menus right away. After about ten minutes, he came back to take our order: very sociable and joking, perhaps a little too much, and with a slight smell of alcohol that wasn't very pleasant. The food, however, was truly excellent; everything was tasty and well-prepared! The service still needs improvement: while we were waiting for our food, we noticed the waiter ushered two girls in through one of the side doors and started talking to them. There was no music playing in the restaurant, so we could clearly hear the conversation. Furthermore, after ordering dessert, we waited about 30 minutes. Stepping outside for a smoke, we saw him chatting outside, probably forgetting our order. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service could be improved.

I ordered two burgers through Deliveroo: the Bud and the Double Beef Cheese. The packaging is thoughtful, sturdy, and well-proportioned to the size of the burgers, which are truly large. Because of their size, however, it was difficult to eat them with your hands, so we were forced to use a knife and fork, somewhat losing the typical flavor of a "street-style" burger. Unfortunately, the meat was overcooked: the ground beef tended to crumble and lose its juices, resulting in a less flavorful experience. The fries, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise: thin, crispy, and much better than the standard bagged fries, served directly with the burger. A small note about the bread: perhaps over-toasted, it was a bit hard on the outside upon arrival, and the amount of sauce on the bun was scant. Delivery was quick (I live about 400 meters away), so I don't think the flaws were related to transportation. We had higher expectations, but I will definitely try it in person on site to give it a second chance: I hope the first-hand experience will be better.

Very tasty and well-made burgers, good meat and fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly, fast, and professional. I recommend it.

A place with a confusing identity: very attentive and professional service until the owner's (we believe) mother arrives, who brusquely clears the table and gives you the bill. The sandwiches are large and well-presented, almost gourmet, but poorly cooked, with the meat dripping everywhere and a cheese that doesn't even remotely resemble American cheddar. The place is truly beautiful, but overall I think the final price of €45 is excessive, especially considering the quality of the ingredients.
