I had such a lovely two-night stay here. You can really tell the staff takes pride in caring for both the hotel and the property. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout my visit. My king room was cozy, spotless, and beautifully comfortable. The coffee was genuinely delicious. The fireplace being on all the time gave the whole place a warm, lodge vibe. I also really enjoyed sitting outside my room at the little table connected to it. Such a peaceful touch. I’d happily stay here again.

We had a really great stay at Sierra Sky Ranch! The overall experience was wonderful—the air is incredibly fresh and crisp, a huge contrast to city life, and it felt so refreshing to breathe it in every day.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Our room had a lovely window that opened right up to beautiful views, and we could watch birds flying around and perching nearby. Occasionally one would even tap on the window curiously! At first it surprised us, but honestly, after so much time in the city, this kind of close encounter with nature felt delightful and special—it really added to the charm of being surrounded by the Sierra scenery.Perfect spot as a relaxing stop before or after Yosemite (super convenient location too). Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, clean air, and a touch of wildlife magic. We'd definitely return!Overall, I'd give it a solid 9/10. Thanks for a memorable stay!

A Truly Exceptional Stay: Sierra Sky Ranch Sets the Bar for Hospitality ​I recently had the immense pleasure of staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch, and after decades of traveling and experiencing countless hotels across the globe, I can honestly say that this boutique hotel offers the best customer service I have ever encountered, bar none. ​The moment I arrived, I was impressed by the historical charm of this 150-year-old property. While the ranch’s history is captivating, it’s the people who make this place truly stand out. Every single staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, super nice, and genuinely warm. They didn’t just process me; they took time to explain everything about the hotel, from the amenities available to the unique history of the location, making me feel instantly welcomed and valued. ​This level of dedication was demonstrated in small but crucial ways. For example, upon receiving my key card, a staff member proactively walked all the way to my room with me to make sure the door key worked perfectly on the first try. This kind of proactive service and attention to detail—making sure the guest is settled immediately—is a rare and remarkable trait. They were so personable that they even happily let me take a picture with them—a true sign of their open and welcoming spirit. Every staff member I met here was friendly and super nice. ​Beyond the extraordinary staff, the accommodations were equally fantastic. The room was very clean and exceptionally comfortable, making for a truly relaxing and great experience. The atmosphere is peaceful—there was no noise whatsoever, and the air was wonderfully fresh, with absolutely no trace of any smoke or unpleasant odors. ​Sierra Sky Ranch is more than just a place to book a room; it’s a restorative experience defined by historic elegance and unparalleled hospitality. What a charming and enchanting boutique hotel! It's quaint and rustic, yet still offers wonderful amenities. The lobby is filled with pieces of its history, and with the fireplace crackling, it felt like the perfect place to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine. Each evening, we looked forward to returning to enjoy the outdoor campfire with other guests and S'mores--such a special touch. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even walked us to our room and made sure we had all the information we needed about breakfast and morning coffee. You can tell they truly care about the details. The continental breakfast was surprisingly delightful, with a nice balance of fruit, protein, and carbs--and the coffee was genuinely good! It made for a perfect start before heading into the park to hike. The location is ideal too--only about 20 minutes from the South gate of Yosemite. The rooms are on the cozy side, but they had everything we needed. They were very clean, comfortable and inviting. Honestly, the only downside was having to leave and fly home. This place feels like a little special secret, and I absolutely cannot wait to return!

Sierra Sky Ranch is a beautiful place with gracious and helpful staff that made us feel at home! We stayed here for a family wedding that was at the same location and all the staff members made it a beautiful and memorable weekend for me and my family. The room was wonderful (Double Queen 2 room suite) for our family with 3 pre-teen kids and 2 adults. Breakfast was a great addition and the common spaces were so fantastic, they kept my kids entertained all weekend. I can't wait to visit this gorgeous place again!

We really loved our stay here. The hotel is super charming — cozy, warm, and uniquely decorated with lots of cute details. You can tell everything was done with care. The common areas are so inviting, and we loved the lovely front yard with the fire pit. Our room was very clean, and the king bed was incredibly comfy. We had a room facing the back with a small private porch, which made it extra peaceful. I did notice a few small spiderwebs here and there (no spiders, thankfully!), but it was a really minor issue — I only picked up on it because I have a bit of arachnophobia. Breakfast was totally fine (I honestly don’t get the negative comments — it was enough for us), and the staff were all super nice and friendly. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would definitely come back. The only downside is that, even though it’s been recently renovated, the walls aren’t very soundproof — if you’re on the lower floor, you can hear footsteps amd conversations from above. So just a heads-up, and if you’re on the top floor, please be kind to the guests below :) Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yosemite.

Beautiful hotel!! Staff is very helpful and fabulous!! Our room had incredible furniture, so classy!! I have been all over Europe and this is my favorite hotel!!!
