Il Santo In Pietra ligure

I've been going to this place for over 15 years I think. One of the best in all of Pietra Ligure. It boasts a unique location, the food is good and plentiful. Everything always very fresh. The pizza is also super, light and digestible dough. You have dinner, drinks and there is the possibility of having fun with five-a-side football and darts. It was a must in my adolescence and I never stopped going to it.

Bellissima Location, peccato che non la valorizzino... Premetto che ho mangiato bene, personale affabile (ma poco premuroso). Non si può servire un buon piatto di pasta al sugo (Del Santo, ottima) con i cracker 🤷‍♂️. Ho chiesto e mi dicono che non è d'abitudine servire il pane... Formaggio grattugiato dovrebbe essere insieme alla comanda del piatto.., dovuto richiedere (scocciata) Peccato! Vero che è frequentato in nottata, ma basterebbe veramente POCO ad acquisire anche altra clientela. Veramente peccato, ma mi pare di capire che a loro va bene così!

Più che per mangiare la maggior parte ci viene per bere e godersi il fresco della terrazza. Le birre sono buone e c'è una discreta scelta. Mangiato qualche panino/piadina ma mai altre cose visti anche i prezzi. Le pizze sono delle sottilette se amate il genere

At the entrance to the restaurant there is a rather small corridor of stairs where you can find some cobwebs on the ceiling... when we actually entered the restaurant a waiter announced to us that the pizza could not be ordered later when they came to pick up the pizza. order the staff introduces themselves saying to order more identical types of pasta (there were 9 of us) after about 50 minutes they show up (the place was not full in fact there were about 8 tables) the food in the end was good... rustic environment with a terrace wide and a little narrow inside, in the end I would recommend it

If you pass by Pietra Ligure you absolutely must try the Santo's pasta, FANTASTIC

Beautiful and particular medieval place in the castle of Pietra Ligure. Large terrace, darts, table football, TV room with huge screen. Tasty pizza with a great choice of alternatives, rich menu of pasta/gnocchi/pansotti/spaghetti with a choice of around thirty freshly prepared sauces, but also piadinas and more. Octopus salad on a bed of spacey leeks!!! Quality beers, including artisanal ones. Various desserts. Fast service even in a crowded place. ...while you wait, placemat with crosswords and other games!

Good food, excellent prices, relatively fast service both at the beginning and in the middle of the evening (so I don't understand those who say slow service in the other reviews). Excellent drinking, perhaps the only flaw was that it was terrifyingly hot and there wasn't any form of air conditioning that worked, but it still felt good to be outside. Please note: to get there there is a steep staircase to climb. I don't know if there is another entrance perhaps with a lift.
