We tried this little restaurant, which seemed typical of the area, and were generally satisfied. The menu wasn't as extensive as the one we found online. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, even though it was 7:30, with us and two other tables. The appetizer platter with fried gnocco was very salty, and the polenta was not very good (which we asked for). The cured meats deserve praise, very good and fresh, as were the cheeses with honey, which were also appreciated. Unfortunately, the giardiniera wasn't great, and finally, the grilled vegetables (our addition) were decent. For starters, the sottobosco (woodland pasta), spaghetti with chestnut flour (which you barely tasted), and mushrooms with melted Silter cheese were good, but unfortunately, I had to keep digesting them all evening because when people came in, a cold breeze blew in, which probably didn't help my digestion. My boyfriend had the same problem with his grandmother's casonsei (pasta with a lot of sauce).
Overall, a pleasant evening, generous dishes. We spent €62.

I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant on New Year's Eve.
The offer included a limited selection of dishes from the à la carte menu.
I tried the mixed seafood appetizer, which was essentially delicate and not overly elaborate. For my main course, I tried their pizza, made with a multigrain flour dough and spiny black corn from the Camonica Valley. The "Il Maialino Infuocato" was excellent! If you like spicy food, I recommend choosing the medium spicy Tezza, as I, quite recklessly, ordered the high level, but it was far too spicy and ended up covering the flavor!

Welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff, very interesting menu, very good and carefully prepared. Their beer alone is worth the visit! Excellent.

After visiting the beautiful historic center of Bienno, we had dinner at this pizzeria. The pizza was good and well-filled, and the tagliatelle with salmi were also delicious. The hamburger was large and very good.

A truly wonderful discovery. I came here with a friend for the first time. Congratulations.
The food is very good and prepared with love! The casonsei are delicious and plentiful, and afterwards, the mixed fried fish: delicious. The lunchtime prices are more than fair. Parking is free and easy to find. Reservations are available online.
Perfect service, and the staff are all very kind and helpful. I highly recommend trying Rugantino for a lunch break that feels like home.
