We chose this restaurant for our daughter's baptism. What can I say... Everything was extraordinarily perfect... Stunning location Excellent staff Exquisite dishes We received compliments from all our guests. We will definitely return for a lovely lunch, and why not? Even for a lovely dinner... Elegant lakefront venue, fast service, and refined dishes. The only downside is the quantity. Prices are slightly higher than average.

We were in this beautiful place for a baptism and I am personally ecstatic. I am vegan and I FINALLY found a restaurant with a very good chef who not only met my needs but did it with passion and enthusiasm. I did not eat the usual grilled vegetables and salad but I was served elaborate and delicious dishes!!! The very kind staff literally pampered me and the owner also proved to be a wonderful person, open to everyone's requests. I highly recommend this place especially to those looking for a vegetarian or vegan menu as well as omnivorous which from what I was told was also exceptional. Well done!!! 💖

We went to Castel Gandolfo after booking a lunch for six people for Ferragosto (August 15th) a few days earlier. We received confirmation online and by phone, along with photos of the set menus, both meat and fish. When we arrived at 1:15 PM, there were no reservations, so the situation was extremely awkward. Eventually, however, we found a table. At 2:15 PM, we were served two appetizers: a seafood one and a pot of sautéed mussels. We waited until 2:45 PM for the first courses: risotto with cream of scampi (but without scampi, unlike the ones served in other restaurants) and homemade spaghetti with lupini (or clams, if you prefer). The second courses were: mixed fried seafood and crispy octopus with baked potatoes. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean, the disabled restroom is well-appointed, and access to the restaurant is via either a staircase or a long ramp, making it accessible to those with disabilities. Everyone was given a menu with the prices clearly displayed, and the final bill, around €220, was as expected. Prices are in line with the mid-range restaurants that line the lakefront. There's a huge parking lot nearby: €1.20 an hour, but €4.80 gets you through the next day. Note that you pay, especially on holidays when tourists arrive. As for the restaurant, the quality of the food was good; I'm only holding back five stars because of the embarrassing reservation mix-up and the long wait for our food.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed this evening. Prices have gone up, there's a limited selection of seafood-based first courses, and above all, a place like this doesn't offer spaghetti with clams on its menu, but with lupini beans, which are cheaper on the market but charge the same as spaghetti with clams. Otherwise, the main courses are good. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived without a reservation and it already gave me that feeling of a clean, welcoming, and beautiful place. The person who welcomed us was kind, friendly, and professional with a smile on their face... impeccable service, waiters always attentive and textbook!! Fast service, they don't make you wait hours! Super clean bathrooms that smell like home, which is truly rare, unlike many others that are smelly and dirty!! Excellent, top-quality food, the pinsa, then very good, drinks that are just the right amount of cold! I really recommend it to everyone, I'll definitely be back because I've seen maybe 2 restaurants like this!! Well done, keep it up, see you soon, my rating is 10+, congratulations again 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

Company dinner. Very nice and well-presented venue. Tasty dishes, friendly and helpful staff. The swordfish roll was excellent!!!

I discovered the restaurant Il Pozzo thanks to the advice of a colleague. The place is very nice with several options: a beautiful terrace on the lake, large internal rooms and a veranda with the famous well. I must say that, at least for the atmosphere, I found it very interesting for parties and events. For the service we were entrusted to the care of a waitress who treated us with uncommon kindness and sweetness. Just for her I would be encouraged to return. The cuisine was much appreciated. I did not have the first course, but the chef's appetizer was varied and tasty and the roasted octopus with potatoes was technically perfect; the fried food was good (on which many restaurants gamble their reputation). All my family members were satisfied. A very useful thing for families with children is that Il Pozzo offers a selection of very good pinsa. This alternative is very intelligent except that then, in the end, we put a margherita in the center and, one piece each, we finished it. Surprisingly, the pizza also goes well with the fish dinner. The first courses? I don't know, I was very intrigued by a slightly larger sized lupin that they use and that with spaghetti could reserve surprises... I'll be back

Good initial welcome, location (apart from the plastic tables and chairs..) suggestive and quite well-kept. Dishes well presented and of good quality. Service kind but should be more attentive and professional. Recommended place and we will definitely return!
