Excellent restaurant, we ate very well, very good fresh fish and amazing tuna tartare, even the fried mussels were a pleasant discovery! Thank you also for the kind and friendly service!

We had dinner on Thursday evening and honestly it was the best meal we had both in Italy over our 8 day vacation. A beautiful family run restaurant overlooking the main plaza with some wonderful service and quality of food & wine. The service was very personable our Italian is no good at all but they treated us so well and we made it work. The chef came out and showed us the specials of the day a local fish and lobster. We went ahead with a beautiful seafood platter and the octopus as starter - absolutely stunning! For the main we had the local fish with grilled vegetables again so fresh so beautiful and simply cooked that it was everything. Finally although we are not a dessert couple and haven't had dessert over 6 days we had to try their tiramisu and it did not disappoint the biscuit was delicious overall all the flavours. We absolutely loved our experience and wish we can go back soon sometime in the future. We definitely highly recommend Ill Pesce Nero. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We ate two starters, both very good. Afterwards we had a very appetizing first course and a grilled fish, quite varied despite the lack of catch of the day.

Siamo stati domenica mezzogiorno, un posticino non troppo grande, con tavoli anche all’ esterno. Un menu accurato e non eccessivamente ricco, per fortuna dico io! La gentile e simpatica signora che serve ci ha elencato i piatti del giorno, fuori menu’, dicendoci, cosa rarissima e gradita, anche il costo di ogni piatto. La carta dei vini buona. I piatti assaggiati erano veramente buoni, dal polpo agli gnocchetti, alla frittura e al sarago squisito. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Torneremo sicuramente, per assaggiare.. il pesce nero!

01/12/2024: Top senza nulla togliere ad altri ristoranti di pari livello, ma qui la qualità è notevole dal momento che entri in sala fino all'uscita; riguardo ai piatti ognuno di loro è una scoperta fra il cibo e l'evoluzione del piatto, naturalmente sarebbe troppo facile parlare del riso nero con foglia d'argento fino ai dolci, pubblico le foto che fanno capire meglio di qualsiasi parola, ed a mio parere il prezzo rientra ampiamente in un buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo, bravi davvero

22/08/2024: Photonic! I had heard about it, but trying it is even better. The cockerel is well spiced and cooked to perfection, fast and precise service.
