During our 4 nights stay in Santa Margherita we came to this restaurant 2 nights for dinner. Both times were a very pleasant experience. We found the Italian styled dishes e.g. lobster pasta and gnocchi were more of a higher quality presentation + flavour in comparison to the other more standard dishes e.g. the steak and chicken were pretty bland basic looking. The staff were lovely, service was good and the restaurant vibe was pleasant. Definitely one of the better restaurant options within the area.

Perfect place, designed in modern and old style. Food delicious. We ordered a zucchini flan and chicken with half bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio wine. Delicious! Staff very kind. If you want to eat something different than pizza go to this perfetto place.

This is easily one of the best places to have lunch or diner in the Portofino/Santa Margherita Ligure area. The place itself looks fabulous and is stylishly decorated. The cocktails? Brilliant! The food? These people know what they're doing and you'll be in for a surprise; what about double-coloured ravioli? Purple gnocchi? And it's all very, VERY delicious. Good and creative cooking, here at Il Patio. Oh, I wish we could go back...

L' ambiente è molto curato e raffinato così come il servizio. Le portate sono prelibate e le quantità adeguate. Il risotto ai carciofi e gamberi è una favola ma non è da meno la pasta allo scoglio e la cheesecake. Il conto è un po' salato ma adeguato alla qualità del cibo e alla location.
