If I really had to find a negative, and I'd try hard to find one, it'd be in dire need of a refresh. The food and service were excellent, and the attention to those who need gluten-free options was adequate. The price was fair for the quality. It's not widely advertised, not even with signs on the street, and it doesn't have an updated website, but its loyal customers know where to find it and what they'll eat.

The location is beautiful, along the lake, with a view of the fields with haystacks. I had a wedding with the ceremony held right next to the lake, very evocative.

Posto davvero meraviglioso,elegante,fine,si affaccia sul lago di Posta fibreno,i piatti sono molto curati e ben presentati,quasi tutto il menù è a base di pesce ma si trova anche qualche proposta di terra.

14/08/2025: A wonderful discovery. We came to this village to discover the birthplace of our grandfather (and his brothers and sisters), who was born here in 1904 before immigrating to France. The only restaurant open, they prepared a delicious, somewhat "homemade" meal without a menu. Antispasti to die for (mozzarella, beignet, etc.) Impeccable service and low prices!

09/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant and it was truly a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, featuring all local produce and homemade pasta. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner explained each dish to us with patience and dedication. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back.
09/11/2025: Jacopo's menu is like a 16th-century poem, precise and convincing. The polenta is special, like everything else, and the food is of the highest quality. Compliments, I wasn't expecting that. Well done, you can see and feel the passion in this work.
