It's a big place with lots of tables so it's easy to get a seat. The pizza is average/poor. The seafood is much tastier, but the prices are steep. The location and the view are what make it worth stopping by.

We ate at Il Maestrale twice in just a few days, so we have a balanced opinion. Positives: the location, the restaurant's decor, and the quality of the pizzas are all excellent. We found the quality of the pasta and other fish dishes subpar and below Italian standards. There wasn't enough flavor, the same sauce served with dishes that were otherwise on the menu, and "vongole" that wasn't vongole but a mishmash of fish. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, but the restaurant is so busy that the service lags behind. The wines are good and offer excellent value.

Ages to take orders, and after that we were rushed constantly (waiters that take plaits form your table when some of us barely finished eating.) we had to ask 3/4 times to different waiters for extra plates before the have them to us. Not a very nice customer service. Food wise, a part from pizzas which were very good, the rest of the food is sort of average. Def not what we expected

Great views of the sea and sunset, friendly and personable service, and a wide selection of pizzas and other dishes. During peak season/weekends, you should make a reservation or arrive relatively early (7:30 p.m.) to secure a good spot.

Good Sardinian cuisine, pleasant setting with a view of the bay. However, the service was very fast, even too rushed. For foreigners, be aware that there is a coperto (service charge).

Very nice place, the staff was kind and helpful. I have a few complaints about the food, but let's just say it's not the best considering the price. I expected more variety and bolder flavors.
The place is refined and elegant. The lady at the cashier was very nice and friendly and even gave us a small discount.
