At Funghetto Matto you are friends, they really go out of their way to make you feel good, they pay a lot of attention, excellent cuisine where I appreciated the quality, you know what you eat not only because you see it but because you recognize the flavour, it's not common.

Excellent place near Guidonia. A place that does not excel in size but in quality. Arrosticini to be absolutely tasted but the highlight are the first courses, amatriciana and gricia have the absolute podium (especially the truffled gricia). Now also the novelty of stuffed calzones to try. If you are near Guidonia, or even surrounding areas, highly recommended. Update 12/09/24 Staff always on point. Gianluca, the owner, always manages to amaze you with his first courses (for me the best is still the truffled gricia). All staff very friendly and helpful. If you are not looking for a chic place, but a place that still gives you a nice full plate of pasta, then this is the right place for you. Must try. Update 01/12/25 (new venue) Il Mughetto Matto 2.0 has recently moved. It is now located in Via San Polo dei Cavalieri 33 in Marcellina. It celebrates its tenth anniversary this year (2015-2025). An important milestone that testifies to the success of a business managed with passion and dedication by Gianluca and Michela, who have been able to win the hearts and palates of their customers with their authentic cuisine and warm hospitality. Since its inauguration in 2015, this place has established itself as a point of reference for traditional Roman and Lazio cuisine. The restaurant, guided by the experience of the chef and owner Gianluca, stands out for the preparation of dishes made with fresh, quality ingredients. The tenth anniversary of Funghetto Matto 2.0 represents not only a moment of celebration for Gianluca and Michela, but also recognition for their ability to maintain high quality standards and to innovate without ever losing sight of the roots of traditional cuisine. Kindness, friendliness, availability, simple but excellent dishes, reasonable price, panoramic view.

Saturday lunch with four friends. Excellent service, food. Then there is Gianluca's friendliness...a great man!! From the upper floor you can enjoy a fantastic view. Normal prices, the four of us didn't miss anything... from the starter to the dessert with wine and water we spent €180. A suggestion: to also have "house wine" in the cellar.
