A traditional multi-generational family restaurant, it was a very good choice to come here for lunch.

Tasty and typical food of the area, pleasant wine of the region, simple and welcoming environment, very kind staff.

In search of a good, traditional dinner, the previous reviews led us here. Honestly, without them, we would never have imagined that such a good restaurant could be hidden behind a glass door in a very simple facade. The staff welcomed us tourists very warmly and helpfully and handed us a menu that consisted of only a single leaflet. Even if that might not seem like much choice at first, the quality is completely convincing! Mortadella or ham and salami as an appetizer, various pasta dishes with unusual wild boar or guinea fowl ragùs, whatever the charcoal grill produces, such as half a chicken or sausage... it's certainly not a huge selection, but incredibly delicious and at a very good price! We had the mortadella with artichokes as an appetizer, the chicken with roasted potatoes, and the tortelloni filled with mashed potatoes and wild boar ragù. It was a dream and certainly not our last visit!

Ristorante Falcone is a real gem. A historic restaurant with a unique atmosphere, the staff was very attentive and courteous, making us feel at home. The food was fantastic, the appetizers and first courses were much appreciated, but the real winner was the grilled chicken, simply superb! The price is more than fair considering the quality and service. The only complaint would be the sign on the window that prohibits dogs when in reality the staff was very welcoming, so perhaps it would be a good idea to remove the sticker - which is now faded - to make them feel welcome. In any case, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and high-quality culinary experience! 5/5 stars.

At the recommendation of our hotel, we went to eat at "Il Falcone." We're French and don't speak Italian, and our English is mediocre. The waitress went out of her way to answer our questions (garlic and olive oil intolerance issues), being very friendly and cheerful. The food is simply excellent. The chef came to see us to ask if everything was okay... he was also very friendly. I highly recommend this establishment. Our only regret... not being able to return during our stay. I may be biased but I have been going there for 40 years specifically to eat chicken. They do everything really good and with "home" flavors. Recommended if you want to have a typical Tuscan culinary experience.

Ospiti di amici in questo locale storico che rimane fedele alle tradizioni toscane autentiche. Sapori decisi e ben equilibrati, salumi profumati ma nella media, crostini ottimi, menzione speciale per quello ai fegatini. Eccellente la farinata con cavolo nero, una prelibatezza che ti porta indietro nel tempo. Straordinaria la peposa, una guancia che si scioglieva in bocca, pollo al mattone ricco di sapori e perfettamente cotto. Fondamentale per godersi queste prelibatezze il giusto abbinamento di vino, nel nostro caso un sangiovese locale che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Ottimo anche il dolce e il caffè. Speriamo di tornarci presto per assaggiare i primi. Complimenti a tutti!
