We were on holiday and made Ladispoli our base. We were on the beach at Il Cuoco Pescatore every day. So convenient to just walk 15m from our beach chairs for lunch. 🏖️ Great food, friendly service and beautiful hot sunny days 😎. We had lunch just about every day here.

A Wonderful Experience at the Beach Restaurant Reading the reviews I was a little skeptical, but after visiting the restaurant on Saturday 22 June, I can tell you that we really enjoyed it. It's true, the service can be a little slow (on the other hand, the place was almost full), but the wait was made pleasant by the great Pino's chatter and advice. At first glance, Pino might seem like a fish out of water, but as soon as he starts talking seriously, you quickly notice that he is a top-notch professional. It is not very relevant to know whether he is the owner, cook, fisherman or all of them together; what matters is that he plays his role very well. Environment The setting is wonderful: you are practically on the beach, in front or almost on the sand and the sea. If you don't like this atmosphere, perhaps it's better to opt for the mountains! The entrance is at pavement level, therefore accessible to anyone. Kitchen As for the dishes, we relied completely on Pino and were amazed. The quality of the food was really high, with raw and cooked fish starters, seafood salad, fish balls, pappardelle with pistachio and orange, fried calamari and prawns. Everything was delicious! Drinks We accompanied the meal with water, wine and an Aperol Spritz, which by the way was also very good. Service We were 7 adults and 1 2 and a half year old girl at the table, equipped with high chairs. Price We paid 40 euros each, a fair price considering the quality of the food, as well as the beautiful location. Conclusion In conclusion, despite some slowness in service, the experience was excellent thanks to the unique environment and the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful dinner by the sea.
