Il Castello Volante In Corigliano d'otranto

Fortress/castle from around 1400 of the local lord. It has a few rooms that can be visited, quite well maintained, restored a few years ago with the contribution of the European Union. Above there is a pleasant refreshment area. Free access. Guided tours are possible.

A valuable military building, also used for other uses over the centuries (e.g. oil mill), it has been brilliantly recovered and is today well maintained and used for the creation of events of public interest. It can be visited and houses a bar-restaurant on the terrace. The sumptuous beauty of the facade can be admired from the outside, but the interior is also absolutely worth a visit. A tourist guide service would make it possible to further enhance its history.

Durante la nostra recente vacanza in coppia nel Salento, io e il mio partner abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di visitare il suggestivo Castello Volante. Situato in una cornice storica affascinante, il castello è un luogo che racchiude in sé il fascino del passato e il brio della modernità. Dopo aver esplorato le stanze antiche e le torri imponenti, ci siamo concessi una pausa al Bistrot Nuvole, situato all'interno del castello. L'atmosfera era semplicemente incantevole. Il mix tra le luci soffuse e l’architettura storica creava un ambiente perfetto per una serata romantica. Abbiamo assaporato dei drink dopo cena, e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla qualità e dalla varietà delle proposte. Tutto era preparato con ingredienti locali a chilometro zero, una scelta che apprezziamo molto per la sua attenzione alla sostenibilità e alla valorizzazione dei prodotti del territorio. I cocktail erano unici, con sapori freschi e ben bilanciati, perfetti per accompagnare la vista mozzafiato dalle terrazze del castello. In sottofondo, una piacevole musica ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile. Consigliamo vivamente una visita al Castello Volante e una serata al Bistrot Nuvole a chiunque desideri vivere un’esperienza magica nel Salento. È il luogo ideale per chi cerca una combinazione di storia, cultura, e un tocco di raffinata modernità.
