The dishes we had were really excellent and the staff were very helpful and kind.

On my second visit to IlCaravaggio, I didn't try the pizza, but I did order a mixed seafood antipasto and the fried calamari and mussels. The portions were generous, the fried fish light and crispy, the mussels fresh and flavorful, and the setting remains very charming, with its historic dining room sometimes featuring wooden beams. The staff was courteous, and the prices remain reasonable, although I've seen from reviews that service can vary. Overall, I still have a good impression.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working. I think a place should provide that.

The restaurant is located in a 16th-century building with an original frescoed ceiling. The friendly and courteous staff makes guests feel completely at home. The extensive menu features dishes made with top-quality ingredients and expertly crafted. Definitely recommended.

For appetizers, we had a mixed seafood platter featuring seafood salad, salmon carpaccio, tuna carpaccio accompanied by very thin slices of melon (a truly delicious pairing), swordfish carpaccio accompanied by thinly sliced pineapple (a pleasant contrast), shrimp cocktail, and stewed mussels. For the first course, we ordered shelled seafood paccheri with a saffron cream base, and we have to say that overall, it was a truly unique dish, delicious and just the right amount of spicy. For dessert, we tried a salted caramel semifreddo, and I have to say it's one of my favorites! It was accompanied by a truly exquisite Chantilly cream! The restaurant and restrooms were excellent. Definitely worth a try for those looking for something a little more unique.

The quality of the food and the cuisine are excellent but the service staff makes the difference! Last night we were served by a very kind and professional waitress who made us appreciate the quality of the food and convinced us to come back; tonight by another person with short hair, unfriendly, hasty and rude who answered with arrogance and annoyance and was only in a hurry to take away the dishes and get rid of the customers.... It seemed like another place! Too bad

We had a great time today at this restaurant in Caprarola! The refined and themed aspect gave us the opportunity to review Caravaggio's beautiful paintings and explain them to our daughter, always curious to listen to new stories while waiting for the dishes. I must say that, in this case, the wait was very short: the kind waitress quickly brought the ordered dishes, which we really liked. Also noteworthy is the availability of gluten-free dishes, from appetizers to desserts, truly appreciated! We recommend it
