New place and very good food😊 helpful and friendly staff

The staff were friendly, the food was decent, and I didn't like the creamy scampi risotto at all, but the rest was good. The gnocchi, which were off-menu and on the blackboard, were delicious.

A simple restaurant, the only distinctive feature being the fresco on the vault. Typical dishes are average. Good desserts. Average prices. Friendly staff.

I had a house appetizer, a selection of cured meats, all excellent quality. The same goes for the pizza. Excellent pizza. The only thing that needs updating is the small, and therefore somewhat noisy, place. The Caravaggio paintings are a welcome addition. The prices are fair and reasonable. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this restaurant.

On my second visit to IlCaravaggio, I didn't try the pizza, but I did order a mixed seafood antipasto and the fried calamari and mussels. The portions were generous, the fried fish light and crispy, the mussels fresh and flavorful, and the setting remains very charming, with its historic dining room sometimes featuring wooden beams. The staff was courteous, and the prices remain reasonable, although I've seen from reviews that service can vary. Overall, I still have a good impression.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working. I think a place should provide that.

The restaurant is located in a 16th-century building with an original frescoed ceiling. The friendly and courteous staff makes guests feel completely at home. The extensive menu features dishes made with top-quality ingredients and expertly crafted. Definitely recommended.

For appetizers, we had a mixed seafood platter featuring seafood salad, salmon carpaccio, tuna carpaccio accompanied by very thin slices of melon (a truly delicious pairing), swordfish carpaccio accompanied by thinly sliced pineapple (a pleasant contrast), shrimp cocktail, and stewed mussels. For the first course, we ordered shelled seafood paccheri with a saffron cream base, and we have to say that overall, it was a truly unique dish, delicious and just the right amount of spicy. For dessert, we tried a salted caramel semifreddo, and I have to say it's one of my favorites! It was accompanied by a truly exquisite Chantilly cream! The restaurant and restrooms were excellent. Definitely worth a try for those looking for something a little more unique.
