29/07/2025: The food was good but the service really poor. Waiter not very nice. Not a smile. We had to ask several time for the status of our order and they had forgotten some stuff. They are pouring the wine from a new bottle and not had customer taste first.

27/07/2025: Restaurateurs are now divided into two categories: entrepreneurial restaurateurs or passionate restaurateurs, and we in Sorrento are fortunate to still have a few professional restaurateurs. Among those who are professional restaurateurs based on merit and skill, Ristorante Donna Sofia certainly deserves a mention: excellent seafood and meat dishes, a sublime wine cellar encompassing the entire region, fabulous desserts, all topped off with a warm welcome from days gone by, prompt and courteous service, and the friendliness of the owners, Lina and Mario, along with "Donna" Flora, a true hostess who welcomes you with kindness and a wonderful smile, making you feel immediately at ease.
