Ikiya is a beautiful, well-kept and elegant place. Full of beautiful Japanese items and great teas. The atmosphere is really nice and Elisabetta and the other girls on the staff were very kind. They told us very well about the teas and desserts we had ordered. I highly recommend it both for the atmosphere and to discover a different way of drinking tea.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The products are all imported and of good quality. I asked for a gift package for a sake and they created a small kimono around the bottle with fabric. The attention to small details is exceptional, I highly recommend.

We had a lovely time visiting Ikiya in March 2025. We each got a different variety of tea, and tried quite a few of their Japanese snack offerings, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff explained (in English or Italian) how long to let the tea steep, and how to pour and drink it, without making us feel like idiots. The market was also nice to browse, they had some great products available. We definitely want to come back.

The shop is Italian-run, so you won't find Japanese staff

Just returning from a trip to Treviso with my daughter I was in this enchanting place. For oriental enthusiasts it is a place not to be missed, there is an atmosphere of absolute relaxation, very few tables, a spacious environment, harmony and serenity reign supreme. Inside there is also the possibility of buying their teas and much more (kimonos, oriental foods, cups, teapots, etc.). Wide selection on the menu. Kindness and courtesy. 5 well deserved stars.
