This is a lovely place on top of the hill with an amazing view and excellent food. It has an inside and outside seating space. Unfortunately, we were seating inside because we didn’t book in advance. I think the staff forgot about us for a while because it was very busy. But they were very apologetic and friendly. My suggestion is to book in advance, especially on weekends. Also perfect for a romantic sunset aperitivo!

A pearl on the lake: simplicity and authentic flavor We discovered this lakeside inn almost by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The view is breathtaking, perfect for a relaxing lunch or a sunset dinner. The dishes are simple, authentic, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. You can sense the attention to quality and respect for tradition, without unnecessary frills. Each dish tastes "homemade," but with that extra touch that wins you over. The pasta made with water and flour is flavorful and spicy just right. The staff is courteous and welcoming, the atmosphere warm and familiar. A place where you immediately feel at ease.

Recommended. While walking around town, we asked a local for a recommendation for a place to eat, and it was an excellent recommendation. We ordered two main courses: the suckling pig was spectacular, and if you go, you have to order it; the mixed grill was also good. The side dishes were equally good. We dined inside, but there's also the option of dining in the small square when available. The restaurant has been well-restored, a restoration of a building dating back to an older period, with a beautiful staircase. I would perhaps remove some of the furnishings, but I would leave the phone number and the historic photo of the owner's grandparents (taken a few blocks down, behind the current post office). The staff were friendly; we chatted with one of the owners at the counter near the entrance. It's admirable that they're dedicating themselves to their local area and promoting tourism. I also discovered that he was the one who introduced the use of saffron in their recipes, which I find very original.

We reserved a table for the second sitting at 2:30 PM. After a slight delay, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. The shank and the cockerel were truly divine. We ate in the little square overlooking the lake, it looks like a painting. Excellent experience.

A gem at the lake. Thank you for a lovely time AND (!) a wonderful dinner. Eating under the stars, with such a beautiful view of the lake, is simply WONDERFUL! Everyone is friendly, smiley and helpful. Our friends who came to dinner with us (they came all the way from Rome!) were just amazed at such a great place and fantastic food. A restaurant with a beautiful lake view. Excellent service and excellent food. The village platter was plentiful and delicious, as was the tagliolini with saffron cream and sausage, all at very reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.
