Ci hanno fatti accomodare con gentilezza anche se il locale era già pieno. Piatti genuini e molto buoni, sia i primi che la carne che i contorni. Molto buona la pasta fatta in casa, menzione speciale per l’ottima crema della nonna. Consigliatissimo

I trusted the reviews, and I did well!!! Meanwhile, I must say that the restaurant is set in a historic building in the cute village of Castel di Tora and overlooks Lake Turano, of which you can enjoy the beautiful view from the small square a few meters from the restaurant. The managers are very kind, the environment is friendly, and last but not least, the dishes are really good. The village is all uphill, but it's pleasant. But the gem that really delighted me is that they also offer a shuttle service (with an electric microcar), for those who are tired and don't feel like walking from the car park outside the village. Today, the owner, Federico, in the presence of pouring rain, accompanied us to the car. All this, combined with truly accessible prices, convinced us that we will return several times in the future.

Siamo stati un sabato io e un mio amico al lago del turano per una gita fuori porta e per pranzo ci fermiamo in questa osteria caratteristica con anche tavoli fuori sulla piazzetta con vista lago. Essendo febbraio stare fuori era troppo fresco, perciò ci siamo accomodati dentro dove hanno dei tavoli in un piano superiore molto caratteristico e ci si arrivano con una scala a chiocciola. I piatti che propongono sono abbastanza semplici, nulla di ricercato ma abbastanza ben fatto anche se mi aspettavo meglio il tagliere di salumi e formaggi come antipasto. Alla fine abbiamo pagato 40€ a persona per un antipasto condiviso, due primi, due secondi e caffè quindi come prezzo abbastanza in linea con la concorrenza.

I'm really happy to have found such a good place with super friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend the kebabs, they are suuuuuper!!! It's just a shame that so much time passes between one dish and another, although I understand there were a lot of people today; Despite this I can't wait to return.

The place is hidden on the top of the center of the town, easy to reach with small car going trough the small tiny road, or by walk leaving the car at public parking around 250 mr distance. The cold cuts and cheese are all local and very tasty, Interesting the lamb liver with onion , the liver dry sausage and ham too… The pasta we had amatriciana and spaghetti chitarra with porcini mushrooms… I guess the pasta is made from outside not in house… the grilled sausage are very tasty. Wine selection decent with some local wines. A place to go back when in the area.

The place is absolutely worth a visit! The panoramic view of Lake Turano is spectacular, truly breathtaking. Even though it was winter in Turano, the sunny day allowed us to have lunch on the small balcony of the restaurant, a truly unique and evocative experience. We ate in an extraordinary way: excellent dishes, well presented and of excellent quality. The wine list is well stocked and the menu is meticulous in detail. The price is adequate for the quality of the food and the beauty of the place. It is certainly a place to visit several times, especially in summer, to make the most of its unique atmosphere. Really worth a visit. A place that seems to have a divine touch.

In an enchanting village we enjoyed a super restaurant for the quality of the dishes at a reasonable price.
