I've been going to the Giumelli family for 20 years, not as often as I'd like, and their kindness and ability to make us feel at home. The food is so good there's a real risk of overdoing the portions. Plus, they're close to some very beautiful places, both on and off the lake. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience! Rooms are clean and roomy (for Europe) The view of the Alps is spectacular! Didn't care for the food. (Just my American palette) Dinner started at 7:30 pm which is too late for me. Owners are friendly. A bit of a language barrier. Thank goodness for Google translate!

On a motorcycle road trip, I chose this hotel for its very reasonable price. The hotel is a little off-center from the lake, in a quiet, high-mountain setting (despite the busy road in front of the hotel). The welcome was warm and friendly. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The bedding was comfortable (despite the spring mattress). The shower water was hot but not enough pressure for my liking. Despite the hotel being high in the mountains, there is a lot of traffic in front of the hotel, and the soundproofing of the windows could be improved (you can hear cars passing by around 7:00 a.m.). The meal was good but not generous enough (pasta dish). The breakfast was good but lacked variety. Overall, the hotel offers good value for one or two nights.
