June 2025.
We only took a short break there after the climbing tour.
The prices are extortionate! A mini slice of cake costs €6 (but delicious), draft beer costs €7, and a non-alcoholic wheat beer costs €7. OK - a 0.5-liter still water from a plastic bottle without a glass costs €2.50, and a cappuccino (also decaffeinated) costs €3.50.
They were overcharged for one cappuccino on the bill (so they provided the bill), but the amount was refunded without any problems after complaining. Many varieties of pre-packaged ice cream.
Fantastic view! 🤩
BUT the terrace, UNFORTUNATELY, only has two beer benches, without sun protection. They could do much more with it.
The manager only speaks Italian, and the boss also speaks German.

I stayed at the Hotel Mariaflora for 7 nights and was absolutely thrilled. I actually booked very spontaneously – I only called the evening before – and still managed to get a room. That alone was fantastic service!
My room was perfectly adequately equipped: two beds, a TV, and a hairdryer – everything you could possibly need. The hotel is very clean overall, and you immediately feel at home. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality: the hosts are incredibly friendly, flexible, and helpful. Every morning, I received a free ride to and from the lift, which was a huge advantage for me as a solo skier without a car.
The food really surprised me! Every evening, I could choose a three-course menu, along with a large salad buffet. Breakfast was also excellent – fresh coffee, yogurt, various spreads, cold cuts, and muesli/cornflakes – everything you need for a great start to a day of skiing. I had actually booked half-board for the whole week, but ate out two evenings. I wasn't charged for these two evenings in the end – I think that's very fair and definitely not to be taken for granted.
The hotel's facilities are also great: ski storage, elevator, a lovely dining room, and a small but nice wellness area. The sauna was turned on especially for me as soon as I let them know, and I had the whole area to myself – truly fantastic service!
The location is another highlight: breathtaking views of the Dolomites! The lift is about a 15-minute walk (without skis), but as I said, the host will drive you there and pick you up again if you wish.
I really can't understand why there are some negative reviews here. My stay was perfect, my expectations were exceeded, and the value for money is unbeatable. I will definitely come back – even if I don't stay here overnight, I'll definitely stop by. If you're looking for cozy, clean, and hospitable accommodations in a prime location, this is the place for you!
