Hotel Ristorante Alpino In Varena

We just returned from a mini-vacation at this place. I'm writing this review to further compliment the owner and all the staff at this hotel, whose kindness, attentiveness, and warm welcome made our vacation special. I especially enjoyed everything, but the various types of bread baked by them and the freshly made carrot, celery, and apple juice. Thank you for everything, and we can't wait to return.

A wonderful stay in the first week of February. A property in the center of Varena with every comfort, starting with its strategic location for reaching all kinds of destinations. Here, you feel right at home: Paolo and his family's hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism are evident from the moment you arrive. Our comfortable, spacious room includes a desk, sofa, and two comfortable beds, a 32-inch LCD TV, and a balcony overlooking Cermis. The rooms are exceptionally quiet. A spa on the lower floor features a sauna, bio-sauna, whirlpool, Turkish bath, showers, and several relaxation areas with comfortable loungers, a herbal tea corner, and towels available—the perfect place to unwind after a day on the snow. Breakfast and dinner offer a wide selection of local products, always delicious. A dinner menu with a choice of three first courses and three second courses, plus a self-service buffet. A children's playroom is available for both adults and children. Two parking lots: one private uphill and one public parking a few dozen meters from the property. Excellent value for money. Hotel Alpino left a special memory in our hearts and we will definitely return.

It was supposed to be a simple weekend in the mountains, hiking in the snow, and it became a dream. And the Hotel Alpino immediately gave us that "something extra" that makes all the difference. Sure, a beautiful room, obviously very clean, and then that genuine, almost attentive, welcome. Their small spa, which still has two saunas, a Turkish bath, a whirlpool, a shower, and loungers to relax on, refreshed us before dinner. And that's where our lovely stay became a dream. The quality of the food, surprising and refined, made us think: there must be a catch here! But no... and now that I'm having breakfast, I can only confirm that everything is fresh, of the highest quality, and I could simply say: excellent!

It was our first time at this hotel, but it certainly won't be our last. We only stayed three nights, but we felt right at home. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, warm and welcoming. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, exquisite. For dinner, we had several options to choose from in addition to the rich and complete buffet. Breakfast offered both sweet and savory options, both delicious. There's also a spa, a fully equipped games room, and we even took advantage of the ski storage. A truly special and relaxing stay. We can't wait to return!

This is our third holiday here at the Alpino, the first in winter, and our expectations were more than met—or even exceeded, I'd say! The attention to detail is always top-notch: immaculately maintained rooms, excellent food, and a welcoming, refined, and elegant atmosphere! Highly recommended, both summer and winter!

I've never experienced such customer service, not even in a five-star hotel. Not to mention the food: the New Year's Eve dinner and breakfast were superb. The artisanal panettone was one of the best I've ever tasted. The owners were incredibly friendly. We'll recommend it to everyone; don't miss it! Excellent location for easy access to the ski slopes.
