Hotel Restaurant Ortesino In Folgaria

We stayed for four nights last week. The hotel is well-run by Raia, a Lagorai shepherd, assisted by an excellent team of assistants. The value for money is excellent, and it's one of the few hotels without unnecessary frills like a spa. The location is perfect for skiing, with the chairlift just 100 meters away. Highly recommended.

On 7.12 I had lunch in this restaurant, having found the location by chance, splendid, in front of the slopes and the ski lift of the same name... the food was good, the tagliata and polenta with cheese and mushrooms were perfect... the staff were kind and helpful, worth trying +++

Excellent for those who venture up to altitude for a nice walk and want to eat something good and typical... recommended by some friends we tried this good and excellent quality cuisine

Today I ordered a 10-ounce macchiato and a slice of strudel. I think the coffee was average. It's almost 2 a.m. and my eyes are still wide open. For someone like me who isn't used to it, it's quite a surprise. Especially if you know the alarm goes off at 7 a.m. I'm giving it three stars because the strudel was excellent. Let's hope we get some sleep.

Clean and well-kept family atmosphere. Homemade cuisine and wood-fired pizza in the evening. Strategic location for winter access to the slopes or summer activities.

Excellent dinner, generous portions. Very good pizza, the "forte cherle" is a must try! Friendly staff, they even found us a seat even though we hadn't booked. Kids' corner with markers and stamps. Very fast service.

We stopped for lunch and found the typical dishes very good, but we also really liked the pizza, I highly recommend it... fair prices.
