Hotel Restaurant Gstör, Mexicos & Pizzeria In Lagundo

...it takes a while to find your way around the labyrinth of corridors.

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Algund with a unique atmosphere. The greenery and awnings immediately put you in a vacation mood. The food was very good and plentiful. The friendly waiter had everything under control.

Der Biergarten (Palmgarten) ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt 3 Speisekarte, eine mit Mexikanischen Essen, eine mit Pizza und euine mit Italiänischem/Österreichischen Speisen das Essen kommt relativ zügig und alles war sehr lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Very dated room, we have never seen such a small bathroom in any other hotel, perhaps it was little more than a meter x a meter, breakfast mainly savoury with some sweet except for some jams then little or nothing

We only used the restaurant; we can't rate the rooms as we stayed elsewhere. There were four of us here and we had a pizza, which was really large and delicious. The service was very friendly and quick, and spoke German and Italian. We found the prices for food and drinks very reasonable (we're from Munich). The decor is rustic and might not suit everyone's taste, but that didn't bother us, as everything else was perfect. Tipping wasn't possible when paying by debit card, so have cash ready!

We didn't eat at the hotel, but ate at the Palmengarten. The ambiance was fantastic, the food was delicious 😋, and the service was very good. We had a lovely evening 👍🏻

To be clear: I'm reviewing the Palmengarten here. I can't say anything about the hotel itself :-) We've known the Gstör for many years, have shopped at the butcher's and eaten at the pizzeria. Today, we spontaneously visited the Palmgarten on our first evening in Algund. And we returned to our accommodation absolutely thrilled. The food was perfect and the price was right. I had two small starters, but they were by no means small. My husband had a mixed grill. The food was beautifully presented. The service was perfect despite the stress. We felt welcome and comfortable and will definitely come back.

We can only report the very best. From check-in, through our entire stay, to check-out, we were very satisfied in every respect. The suite was wonderful, service very friendly and very good. Quality of the meals is top.

Two vegan dishes. The grilled vegetables were very tasty. The tofu could be seasoned a little better ;) The salad buffet was also really great! Otherwise very comfortable!
