Hotel Lido Ficocella In Centola

We just returned from a weekend at this hotel, our last before it closes for the end of the season. What can I say...it was truly spectacular! Everything was perfect: the structure, cleanliness, location, staff, and an exceptional view with breathtaking sunsets. Breakfast offers a wide variety of products, all of excellent quality. A sincere thank you to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism.

We stayed at the Ficocella Hotel in Palinuro on the Cilento coast! Fabulous location! Very welcoming and comfortable! But above all, the exceptional staff! From Antonio to Attilia Rosita, Antonietta Pietro, and last but not least, the bartender Carmine! etc. We felt right at home. The manager was a delightful person. And finally, the sea was gorgeous and the food was top-notch. Cilento is highly recommended.

Beautiful bay in the center of Palinuro. The hotel is in excellent condition. We stayed on the first floor; the room looked new and had a direct sea view. I loved the quiet and lack of traffic. The beach below has a Caribbean-like sea. The lido is available for an additional fee and also offers excellent food.

Perfect hotel for a vacation in Palinuro, equipped with all amenities, including a generous breakfast. Comfortable rooms with multifunctional showers with three simultaneous jets. I stayed from September 7th to 10th. Upon arrival, we were greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff who provided us with all the necessary information. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place, even for a short getaway, as the crystal-clear sea rejuvenates both mind and soul. I had a wonderful holiday in this magnificent hotel. Everything was very well-maintained, the staff was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent, the location was wonderful, the room was comfortable, beautiful, and clean—in fact, spotlessly clean. The hotel is right on the sea and has a beach, but this beach does not belong to the hotel and costs extra. There are about 50 loungers/umbrellas crammed together on the beach, which I personally don't think is so great, but everyone has to decide for themselves. We went to the public beach and it was great, no people, fantastic warm water, an absolutely dream beach (just google public beach). The staff was ok, the rooms were clean, but the towels didn't smell fresh/clean. Our shower was obviously broken, but it wasn't fixed. The balcony was so tiny that only two chairs fit on it, a real shame. The car park is 200m away and costs €10 a day. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is everything you need just above the hotel. Personally, I thought the breakfast selection was limited, and if you arrive later there's nothing left. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Spectacular location, breathtaking views, especially at sunset from the sea-view room. Very clean hotel, impeccably cleaned every morning. All the staff were friendly and always helpful. A very generous breakfast, and the bar staff were friendly and professional. Excellent products with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, including homemade cakes. We will definitely be back.
