Average restaurant, lacking transparency: they offered a porcini mushroom appetizer, which wasn't on the menu. Five or six small pieces, equivalent to two small-medium porcini mushrooms, cost €20! Too much in my opinion, and the service was less than professional.

What can I say? Alfredo and his team never disappoint! Dishes from the true Roman tradition, executed with simple mastery.

A small, quaint trattoria in the heart of Castel Gandolfo. Traditional yet modern, it offers typical Roman cuisine at reasonable prices.

I don't usually write reviews. But now I absolutely have to. Compliments to the chef. We ate wonderfully. My daughter had chicken cacciatore. Very tender and delicious. I had tonnarelli alla gricia, which I couldn't fault except that it was incredibly good. All accompanied by a local wine. I highly recommend it.

We were served with kindness... I would say cheerfully as if we were at home... their starter platter is worth it but the carbonara... fantastic... finally the artichoke ciriola alla cafona is delicious... in short it deserves 5 stars... ps. I didn't know it had won with Borghese... but evidently it deserves it

I went to this fraschetta for lunch out of curiosity and had high expectations, and I must say it lived up to them. Excellent quality food, very fresh cured meats and cheeses, and plentiful, even the starters were delicious. Excellent service, fast, friendly, and very kind. I highly recommend it.

We were on vacation in Castel Gandolfo and chose this fraschetta for lunch without high expectations, but I quickly changed my mind. We started with a typical ciriola appetizer, which was truly delicious. For our first course, we chose ravioli: excellent flavor, although a little too al dente for my taste. The meatballs in tomato sauce, on the other hand, were delicious and plentiful. The real highlight? The desserts. The homemade crostata is unforgettable; I still dream about it. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was traditional. We'll definitely be back!
