A charming inn on the main street, with a lovely open-air counter selling cured meats and cheeses. We had an excellent cacio e pepe, a carbonara, and a cheese and cured meat platter. Everything was truly excellent.

Trattoria dei Castelli, neither good nor bad: a very simple restaurant with outdoor seating on Castel Gandolfo's main street. Service is fairly quick, and the dishes are traditional; they could do better.

Average restaurant, lacking transparency: they offered a porcini mushroom appetizer, which wasn't on the menu. Five or six small pieces, equivalent to two small-medium porcini mushrooms, cost €20! Too much in my opinion, and the service was less than professional.

I don't usually write reviews. But now I absolutely have to. Compliments to the chef. We ate wonderfully. My daughter had chicken cacciatore. Very tender and delicious. I had tonnarelli alla gricia, which I couldn't fault except that it was incredibly good. All accompanied by a local wine. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: An absolute highlight in Rapallo! For starters, we had the seafood salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad. For our main courses, we had spaghetti alle vongole and spaghetti with prawns – and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The seafood, in particular, was of excellent quality. The service was also exceptional: warm, attentive, and very professional. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything was perfect for us – the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality. If we're ever in Rapallo again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Pizzeria Amalfi 1

18/04/2026: Excellent Neapolitan pizza, excellent service, and a great location just steps from St. Peter's. Great atmosphere. I recommend the sausage and broccoli rabe or the porcina, both delicious. The average draft beer is more expensive than average. I recommend this pizzeria.
16/04/2026: I truly enjoyed my time at Amalfi. The food was wonderful, and Marcos explained every ingredient to me, he was incredibly kind. I highly recommend this place! Tks Katia Regina
