We were on vacation in Castel Gandolfo and chose this fraschetta for lunch without high expectations, but I quickly changed my mind. We started with a typical ciriola appetizer, which was truly delicious. For our first course, we chose ravioli: excellent flavor, although a little too al dente for my taste. The meatballs in tomato sauce, on the other hand, were delicious and plentiful. The real highlight? The desserts. The homemade crostata is unforgettable; I still dream about it. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was traditional. We'll definitely be back!

Definitely the best restaurant we ate at during our Roman vacation.
The charcuterie platter was excellent, followed by cod, amatriciana, and desserts, all delicious.
The staff was courteous and friendly despite the crowds.

Courtesy and kindness as an appetizer...
As for the rest, really, a lot of rubbish...
Abundant dishes, excellent quality at a great price...

A delightful fraschetteria with a constant flow of people. Very nice location with outdoor seating. We recommend the papal platter as an appetizer: superb.
The first courses are good but very generous.
The tripe is delicious. Initially attracted by the fact that it has won four awards for best fraschetteria, we admit it fully deserves its title.

Hosteria La Fraschetta di Padre in Figlio in Castel Gandolfo...I have to say it was a real pleasure! The service was impeccable and the food was simply divine!
The tonnarelli cacio e pepe were the best! The pasta was fresh and the pecorino cream was perfect, a real treat for the palate!
The tonnarelli alla carbonara and the tagliatelle alla matriciana were equally delicious.
But not only that, the maritozzo alla picchiapo and the ciriola with artichokes alla cafona, guanciale, and pecorino...wow...they were an incredible surprise!
The porchetta...a real treat.
In short, if you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to try this place! The quality/price ratio is incredible and the service is friendly and professional.
This place is a true gem of Roman cuisine!
Thank you, Hosteria La Fraschetta.

The place where I've eaten the best Roman cuisine. A little pricey, but worth it.
