These are the people who used to run Locanda a Sud above Ghiffa. Same excellent, super fresh, seafood heavy cuisine. Not a big menu but what’s on it is well prepared. Went in early summer so could enjoy the huge terrace. Recommend booking ahead.
Staff as helpful, casual, humorous and competent as always. Will be back.

Excellent restaurant. I went there for lunch and had fish dishes. The food was delicious and the portions were generous at a fair price. I left the restaurant very satisfied. I will definitely return.

Parallelo 41 offers a modern and refined setting, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine offers beautifully presented dishes, made with select ingredients and balanced pairings. Interesting appetizers, flavorful first courses, and carefully prepared second courses. A good selection of wines and professional yet friendly service. Prices are in line with the quality. An ideal restaurant for a refined and contemporary dinner.

The management was at another restaurant in the area until 2024, a restaurant I greatly appreciated, and they live up to expectations at Parallelo 41 as well.
The menu is short, which I always appreciate.
They offer mostly fish-based dishes, but there are other options for those who don't want fish.
Perfect service, delivered with great kindness, competence, efficiency, and a very spontaneous friendliness.
Highly recommended.

Very tasty food, although not exactly cheap.
Don't expect typical Italian dishes like pizza or pasta here.
It's more of a fish restaurant!
Our dog was also warmly welcomed and provided with water.
The service was excellent and very friendly.
Everything was explained to us in very good English, and all our questions were answered.

I visited Parallelo 41 a few days ago, a scenic spot with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake, a pleasantly cool escape from the summer heat. It was all accompanied by excellent food, from appetizers to dessert, and a pleasant encounter with the guys from the Locanda, south of Ghiffa, and their unmistakable, primarily seafood-focused cuisine that never disappoints. Highly recommended in this new guise.
