The welcome is warm. This restaurant allowed us to taste Italian dishes we hadn't tried before.

We stayed a week in Maratea, and after dinner one evening at Host, we voted it our favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic and familiar, Mr. Antonio and his staff are kind and attentive to all their guests, and their cuisine is exactly what you'd expect: delicious, quality ingredients, and (not surprisingly) more than fair prices. If you're reading this review and looking for a restaurant, give it a try. You'll definitely be back.

Friendly and courteous, but the first course wasn't great. The anchovies were excellent. Very slow, and the setting is street-facing. Price was above average. I wouldn't go back.

Everything was perfect, especially that fantastic, colorful platter and the original mandarin orange liqueur! I'll add: the staff were very polite!!! I'll add again for August 2023: everything was excellent, from the food to the staff, they were excellent!!! Excellent yesterday too, August 30, 2025!

We had dinner at this place while passing through Maratea. I personally only ate an appetizer. But I can say that the staff were friendly and the place was quiet. I recommend the quality/price ratio.

A wonderful, wonderful family restaurant with delicious pasta, cheese, and cold cuts. A perfect place for a family dinner, with delicious desserts and friendly service. We'll be back for more of your favorite flavors :)

Typical cuisine in the center of Maratea. We tried excellent Lucanian ravioli and pasta with crusco peppers. Recommended.

Delicious! We arrived quite late but Google times said it would still be open. We were the only customers but the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a very tasty meal accompanied by their own lovely house wine
