What a delightful surprise this place is. By quite a distance the best tasting food on Marettimo, served in an incredibly authentic homemade style. The lovely lady who runs the place is an absolute joy. The prices are in the higher side on the island and the portions are not huge, but it all feels appropriate given the flavours. Don’t expect to be rushed here - it’s a place to go, relax, take in some gorgeous local ingredients (rarely would I recommend to order for each course in Italy given the prices - but this is one of those places where it’s a must). The calamari with Nero d'Avola and myrtle is a strong recommendation - one of the most unique flavours I’ve ever tasted.

Dining at this restaurant is like diving into the flavors of the island of Marettimo. The dishes have a distinct seafood aroma and flavor, meticulously explained one by one by the "grandmother" who owns the restaurant. It was an experience that will forever remain in our memories and makes us even more nostalgic for a wonderful island.

I had a wonderful meal! The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, with authentic flavors that reflect the island's traditions. Each dish was carefully crafted and truly delicious. The friendly service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy excellent seafood in Marettimo!

It's a shame that this restaurant isn't supported by the locals in Marettimo. Located on a street off the main square, near the pharmacy. In our opinion, there's no restaurant as good as this in Marettimo. Anemones and sea urchins are a dish that tastes like the sea. What can I say? It's an understatement. A must-try!

Very nice little restaurant, it looks like one of those trattorias that no longer exist, shame about the plastic chairs. The owner makes everything special. The food and service are so-so.

Marettimo has proven to be an amazing place to eat and we have had some amazing food in the three nights we have been here. But on the last night we have certainly came to a place that has excited us beyond any other place. It’s not sea front and has no spectacular views but if it’s the ultimate culinary experience you’re after, the Disney true life version of Ratatouille, than this is the place to come to. Forget Michelin star experiences. The creative nature and sublime combination of the ultimate ingredients is to found in this unique restaurant in Marettimo

The restaurant looks like a standard seafood restaurant, but the dishes are sophisticated and excellent. The owner is a kind woman who knows her stuff. Follow her advice and you won't regret it. The price is fair for the quality of the ingredients.
