Hawaii Poke Sushi In Napoli

One of my favorite places to eat in Naples: fresh, freshly cooked, and top-quality ingredients. Very friendly staff and fair prices.

The staff were very friendly, the food was exquisite, and the taste and appearance were meticulously crafted. I'll gladly return whenever I can. Highly recommended.

We visited Hawaii Poke Sushi in 2 yesterday (Saturday evening). Since we're not from Naples, we simply Googled places to grab a quick bite before heading to the train station to head home. We arrived at around 7:15 PM, without any reservations. Upon our arrival, the owner greeted us and kindly explained the poke menu to us. Despite the name of the place, we hadn't even realized they also served sushi, which we were actually quite pleased about! We changed our minds, didn't order poke, but sat at the tables and ordered a few dishes. The place is really small—there are only three tables inside, if I saw carefully—but despite that, it's really cute and well-kept! The door isn't self-closing, so it's easy to get left open, and for those of us sitting at the table right next to it, it could be a nuisance by letting the cold in. I recommend the owners add a sign saying "Close the door" so that careless customers are aware. Regarding the dishes: we ordered four plates of uramaki (Sake Philadelphia, Tuna Philadelphia, Spicy Sake, and another with cheddar whose name I can't remember), one of nigiri (squid nigiri), and the mixed seafood udon. We were truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients! The seafood is plentiful and truly excellent; in particular, the squid, which usually turns out to be tough and chewy at all-you-can-eat restaurants, was incredibly soft at this place, so much so that it seemed to melt in your mouth! The dish I enjoyed the most, however, was the udon! I've never had anything better, honestly! Light but flavorful, they're truly a must-try here! Regarding the service, I can't give it less than 5 stars since it's a family-run restaurant (only the owner and what I believe was her son, a really nice guy, were on duty!), but since it was a Saturday night, the wait wasn't the best. If a customer arrives wanting poke while you're waiting, they'll probably be served first if you order hot dishes, or at least that's the impression we got last night. Once that customer had cleared out, however, we were served immediately and with the utmost courtesy! When it came time to pay, the guy apologized, but we know there's always going to be a bit of a wait on a Saturday night! In the end, for everything we ordered and two bottles of water, we paid €34 for two, a more than fair price for what we ate! (The uramaki were truly large, fantastic!) For all these reasons, our experience was memorable. You've gained two new regulars; every time we're in Naples, dinner at your place will be a must! ❤️

Lived in Naples for 4 years, and there was not a single poke place better than this. I’m actually looking forward to go back and eat here again. Hopefully it will just be in two weeks

A great experience with a custom-made takeaway Pokebowl. The ingredients were super fresh, original, and delicious: grilled salmon, spicy sweet potatoes, cooked bamboo shoots. With the extra egg and avocado, it was perfect!
