Friendly staff, elegant place and it makes you want to come in and eat. Good variety of sweets and food for breakfast, as well as ice cream. More or less I go for breakfast and the ricotta shortcrust pastry is excellent, the snowflake (if I remember its name correctly), the Viennese with white cream. The cappuccino is good but at 2.20 it cannot be served in such a small cup. You can use the table service (from the kind response to the review I understood that the cost of table service was applied). The only downside, the paid bottle of water, not ordered, instead of the kindness of a free glass of water.

Personale gentilissimo, grande disponibilità di scelta, ottime briosce. Ci siamo arrivati per caso ma ci ritorneremo certamente.

Mi fermerò ancora per qualche settimana a Reggio Calabria ed ho scoperto in un ambiente sereno e familiare (proprio accanto a casa mia sul bel lungomare di Reggio) in mezzo ovviamente alle piadine, toast, pizze e varie, oltreché ad una zona affettati ben attrezzata, delle belle verdurine spesso grigliate, degli involtini di melanzane o di zucchine con ripieno di prosciutto cotto e ricottina. Ho gustato delle saporitissime vellutate di fave, di zucca, di zucchine... Non ho ben capito quale delle sorelle titolari dell'attività sforni poi fantastiche lasagne con ricotta e spinacetti, gustosissime tortiere e frittate di carciofi e patate. Poco importa. Bravissime e complimenti. Fra i dipendenti nel servizio spiccano il sig. Giuseppe (simpaticissimo veterano di lungo corso dall'esuberanza travolgente), la sig.ra Domi (briosa la cui voce squillante fà vivace sottofondo al pasto e il professionalissimo sig. Angelo senza nulla togliere a tutti gli altri che comunque sfiorano l'eccellenza. Nessun tempo di attesa considerando che dopo l'ordine le mani occorre pur lavarle e sedersi al tavolo...Insomma mi sta venendo voglia di restare...

We stayed in RC for one week and this wonderful cafe was a godsend right next door to our hotel. The coffee and cornetto for breakfast were delicious; especially recommend the pistachio. The Easter Colomba was to die for. Every morning we were served by a lovely young man from Moldova. Definitely recommend this cafe. Great service, wonderful atmosphere and superb fare.
