Gigi Bar In Stresa

We really like coming to Gigi bar, but today we sat as usual. A waiter came and told us to move to make room for 4 people. So we sat at a table for 3. 2 minutes later, a couple came and sat at the table for 4, and got served! We waited patiently for our turn, then we complained a little about the special treatment, and then we were very surprised to be told that the bar was right... really a shame

A few days ago, I stopped by Gigi Bar, a place I had always heard of for its welcoming atmosphere and its famous biscuits: Margheritine. I was there to have a hot herbal tea, a moment of break from the hectic pace of the day, and I must say that it was an experience that exceeded expectations. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere: soft lights, the smell of freshly baked desserts and smiling staff. But the real surprise were the Margheritine biscuits. At first glance, they seem like simple biscuits, but as soon as you taste them you realize that there is something special: crumbly, delicately sweet, with a texture that melts in your mouth. Perfect to accompany herbal tea, but even on their own they are an irresistible treat. You can feel that they are made with quality ingredients and with a craftsmanship that respects tradition.

We went to this bakery because it was one of the very few places open to get something hot on a freezing day and I have to say it was a great choice. The very kind staff, the very nice and elegant environment, the good coffee and the very good mignons,😋😋 the chocolate mignon panettone is a little less good, a little dry. In general I recommend it

Nice place on the lakefront, the only one open in November... In Stresa everything is closed. But it deserves a stop because it is welcoming, elegant and very clean. The pastries and cappuccino are good. Friendly staff serving tables.

Used to order cakes to take away. Congratulations to the pastry chef, the communication with her was wonderful, she met all the requests and the cakes turned out very well. The excellent price. Advised.

We had breakfast here throughout our stay, it's just incredible, the staff is very pleasant and there is a huge choice of pastries and even savory ones for those who want it, I highly recommend it.
