We went both for lunch on Friday at the restaurant and for dinner on Saturday evening at the pizzeria. We found everything excellent and the service good, with very attentive and friendly staff. I recommend making reservations on Saturday evening.

The restaurant looks very nice... large spaces, nice decor, welcoming staff. On a Thursday evening, two of us arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. The food is excellent... The only downside is that some dishes sell out quickly, so even though they're on the menu and we weren't told anything beforehand, we had to change our order three times. The pizzas also look good, but we didn't have a chance to try them.

We stopped in Cles on our way to San Romedio. We were directed to Ristorante Giardino and were absolutely delighted. The food was excellent and plentiful, the service fast and friendly, and the place was welcoming. A wonderful experience.

We tried both the meat dishes and the pizza, and everything was very good. The place is clean and well-decorated. Special praise goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and fast! We really enjoyed our stay.

08/01/2026: The steak was just some random piece of meat. Tough and lukewarm, just like the pizza. All the plates were ice cold. The scampi appetizer, however, was fantastic. Prices were too high. The service was friendly, but that didn't make up for it. I ate better everywhere else in Riva. Stayed 10 days.

Bio Hotel Hermitage

16/01/2026: Lovely family run hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town but shuttle bus available free of charge. That however is made up for by the stunning views (phoyos of mountains from it room). The food was very good and restaurant manager Giovanni was delightful and very funny. Giuseppe in the bar, the same. Great sauna and pool area. Old school European hospitality - Bravo.
