HOSTARIA CA'NOVA: found by chance...it is easily reachable also by public transport and has good parking possibilities. The sober entrance is counterbalanced by the order and cleanliness, almost obsessive, of the place. The welcome, is not suffocating and gives time to think... . The varied menu, offers a wide choice of libations, first courses, second courses and desserts. Since, I, am quite picky about quality, it reminds me of the, now, almost unobtainable home cooking of the past. The quantity of food, amply satisfies even the tireless forks. A factor not to be overlooked, the time to have the courses is very short. As for the cost, of a complete meal, it is comparable to the cost of a pizza with a small drink. ergo: recommended! We spent €20 for two people, including two starters, two main courses, a side dish, two coffees, water, and 1/4 cup of wine. The food is good, home-cooked with quality ingredients.
