Gennargentu In Desulo

Hidden gem in the Sardinian mountains If you find yourself in the vicinity of Desulo you must do yourself a favour and dine at the Gennargentu restaurant. Eliana and the staff will give you a brilliant dining experience. We stopped on a festival day and had a fixed menu meal for a very reasonable price. The many dishes of antipasti were absolutely amazing and along with a glass of wine nearly filled us up. But then the two primo courses arrived and we couldn’t resist, actually we also ordered the porceddu extra which was delicious. The service was very professional and efficient. Take time to have a look at all the hand carved wooden items, have you ever seen a wooden chainsaw? To top this all off, Eliana was so kind to allow us to park our camper overnight in the restaurant car park. She mentioned to us if tourists have a meal at the restaurant they are welcome to park for the night if space allows. Please call beforehand. What beautiful genuine people. Thank you we will
