The gelato tasted quite artificial and didn’t feel very natural in flavor, which was a bit disappointing. I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you’re craving gelato and don’t have other options nearby. That said, to be fair, I didn’t try gelato from other shops in Napoli, so I can’t say for sure whether this is common or not.

Excellent salted caramel!
I loved it; I tried it with fior di latte, which I didn't like as much, but it's always worth trying... the service was great!

Perfect for enjoying a bite of local street food and dessert. A great place to take a break from the crowds. I came alone, but the staff was friendly. Look for photos of Kim Min-jae nearby!

We were there yesterday. We had dinner at the bistro and also stopped by the pastry shop/gelateria. The staff were professional and polite. The owners were very kind and friendly.
Excellent location, right in the heart of Naples.
We chose a seafood appetizer and a first course. The octopus was incredibly fresh, and the seafood risotto was wonderful.
For dessert, we tried a Sicilian cannoli. It was delicious. We later discovered that the filling comes directly from Sicily. The same goes for the gelato. We had a cup of three assorted flavors, and it was very good.
The quality/price ratio was excellent. We noticed on the menu that they also offer appetizers at a bargain price. We will definitely be back for both that and dinner. A 10.

Not just a pastry shop, just a little further on under the portico you can have lunch. We've had the pleasure of stopping several times for lunch and a snack these days. Nunzio is a very welcoming and kind person, and he was able to satisfy our palates with both savory and sweet treats. Top-notch panettoni, pastiera sfogliatelle, coffee, aperitifs, etc... all very good. We can't wait to return to Naples to visit Valenti again.
