Gelateria Rubino In Francavilla fontana

I highly recommend it to the entire world... we stopped last night for dinner and, between appetizers and pizzas, 10 out of 10s were flying... compliments also to the girls, kind and friendly... excellent and fast service... well done everyone, pizza chef and those behind the scenes.... I'm coming from Sardinia for a few days of work and honestly it will be a must-stop when I'm passing through again.... highly recommended....

Not a positive experience. The staff were very kind and attentive (but the place was empty on a Monday). The wood-fired Ciccio, which accompanied the platter, was good, and of average quality (to be honest). We couldn't get the pan-hamburger... tasteless meat, overall dry (with little sauce, I think), with tomatoes cut in half and inserted raw... extremely difficult to eat. There was a surcharge for substituting the stracciatella with cessare. I wouldn't go back.

Strange experience... I called at 9:00 PM on a Saturday night and they made me 3 delicious takeout pizzas in 5 minutes!!! A little expensive, but I appreciated the COURTESY of the staff, the speed of service, and especially the quality of the pizzas. I'll be back and recommend it. Well done 👏

We stumbled upon Pizzeria Rubino by accident, on our way to Matera. We arrived well before our siesta time. The owner told us her son would come over and make us a pizza an hour before the break ended. What we got exceeded our wildest expectations: phenomenal, the best pizza in the world, with a wonderful dark crust. We are absolutely delighted; we haven't had such good pizza in a long time. Thank you for your hospitality and for this culinary adventure, which happened completely by accident! We are so lucky to have all the pizzas we have prepared for Pizzeria Rubino, on the way to Matera. We arrived very early, during the siesta. The owner has decided to prepare the pizza for us in the best possible way. Quello che abbiamo ricevuto ha superato fire aspettativa: una pizza straordinaria, la migliore del mondo, con un impasto scuro meraviglioso. Siamo assolutamente entusiasti era da tanto che non mangiavamo una pizza così buona. La visita è stata completamente casuale, ma indimenticabile!

The products are top quality but the staff seems to think about Swiss cows instead of working and thinking about the customers.....The pizza chefs are good but I recommend ordering the sourdough pizzas and not sitting down....I hope the management doesn't mind me for the honesty.
