Gelateria che affaccia su Piazzale I Maggio e la Fontana delle Sirene. Ci siamo fermati a prendere qualcosa di fresco e abbiamo scelto granita siciliana. Buona nonostante non sia specialità di zona! Il formato piccolo viene 3,50€, medio 4,50€ con 1 o 2 gusti. Acqua da ½ lt 1,50€.

Small granita, with mint syrup, 3.5 euros. Nothing special.

Expensive overall, 27 euros for two cups and two ice creams (cups costing 3.50 euros) which are also taken personally at the counter because they are not served by the waiters. (In addition to paying at the cashier and not directly to the waiter) Good quality artisanal ice cream overall, peculiar pistachio cup with pieces that recall the external pistachio crust of the Sicilian cassata, chocolate cup with Nutella ice cream that dominates a little. I would have also appreciated a glass of water to quench my thirst at the end but it is not included. Tables a little small and crowded, cheap chairs, service at the ice cream counter not very fast. Honestly, I wouldn't go back unless there were improvements, not so much because of the rather friendly waiters, but because of the shortcomings of the service (ice cream cup at the counter, payment at the counter) compared to the price paid.
