Gelateria Gallo In Portici

The place for real gelato. There's always a line to get it, and the staff is always incredibly helpful and kind. I've tried over 10 flavors of gelato, and they're all delicious. Highly recommended 😊

Excellent gelato, unfriendly (not to mention rude) staff, small portions. When someone goes to eat gelato, they treat themselves to a treat; it's a moment of joy... and finding the staff removing the excess gelato from the cup as they portion it out is heart-warming. Mennella's cups contain 30-40% more gelato for the same price.

Great selection of ice cream! My favorite is the coffee flavor, which really invigorates and tastes bitter 🤗

High prices and lack of air conditioning

The best ice cream shop in Campania. I have never found flavors as tasty as Gallo's Pistachio, or its enchanted ricotta! Try it to believe it! A magical and traditional ice cream shop. My American students always go back to Gallo to buy ice cream because as they say "Best ice-cream ever tasted!!!"

We have not yet found an ice cream shop that can surpass Gallo's preparations. Classic flavors and seasonal novelties, everything is good. Also available are milkshakes, brioches and semifreddos

Gelateria artigianale che porta avanti il loro marchio da molte generazioni e mangiare un gelato li è semore una festa peccato che non ha spazio sia per parcheggiare l auto che per gustarti il tuo gelato .Pero quando mangi il tuo gelato dimentichi tutti i disagi

Rimane sempre un' ottima gelateria, anche se a distanza di molti anni perché praticamente ero del posto e sono qualche decennio che non vivo più qui mi sembra di ricordare che una volta il gelato era superiore e poi hanno adottato la pratica odiosa di far pagare € 0,50 la differenza della doppia panna, quando invece qui a Roma non te la fanno pagare,e non è per i 0,50€ solo che qui un po' da tutte le parti si sta' esagerando, come per esempio ci sono dei ristoranti che ancora fanno pagare il coperto, quando invece è stato abolito da tanti anni
